ICANN Opens Application Period for New gTLD ASP ICANN opened the application submission period for the Applicant Support Program (ASP), part of the New gTLD Program: Next Round. The ASP provides financial and nonfinancial assistance to qualified, eligible entities who plan to apply for a new gTLD. The application period will be open for 12 months, through 19 November 2025. ICANN Opens New gTLD RSP Evaluation Program The Registry Service Provider (RSP) Evaluation Program, open through 20 May 2025, streamlines the evaluation of generic top-level domain (gTLD) applications by separating the technical aspects of operating the gTLD from the application.
