I am an Interaction Design student at the National Institute of Design. Before
this, I spent 5 years at Teach For India as a fellow and then Program Manager.
I care about building a better world through elevating the life experiences of
those in it.
My journey started with formulating systemic solutions for my classroom and then
for the teachers I trained, my time at NID provided me the right skills to level
up my contribution to the world around me.

Graduation Project : Nutanix, research & design to enable the enterprise tech
company to go mobile
 This project is under NDA, so a lot of my work can only be shared in person. I
appreciate your understanding.
Nutanix is one of the enterprise tech giants on the globe and is a world leader
in hyper-converged infrastructure. My task, as a UX designer, was to make sense
of their domain, product portfolio, user needs. I then synthesised these to set
foundations for their MVP, marking Nutanix’s entry in the mobile ecosystem.

TLDR; here’s what I learnt: - Being a fresh pair of eyes in a complex domain;
engaging with users and product owners while educating myself in the process. An
enormous respect and fascination was cultivated in me for designing for tech. -
Learning from competitors; different ways to identify competitors, crystallising
insights from multiple sources and material available freely to learn what user
needs are based on industry trends and aggregating reviews and ratings. -
Designing interviews and validation studies to cull out what users need and what
would make their lives better tomorrow and in the long run. - Making an app that
adheres to and builds on the structured Nutanix design system, while making
product decisions rooted in first principles

Live Project : Questt.com, a homework app for the Indian classroom
500k+ downloads as on 10th January 2022 & has been featured as one of India's
breakout startups in 2021.
I was the entire research and design team at Questt during my tenure.

Questt is an app that simplifies the homework assignment process for teachers
and presents it to students as a fun, gamified experience. I joined as their
first (and only) product designer in June 2020 and laid the foundations of the
product grounded in research and my own experience as an educator. I have
discussed the process of designing the product in the case study below.
