The Prime Meetings takes the pleasure to invite you to the Global Meet on Robot
Intelligence, Technology and Applications (GMROBOT2022) will be held in Dubai,
UAE during October 10-12, 2022.


GMROBOT2022, is an annual meeting organized with the intend of being a platform
for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial experts from all
over the world to present their research results and development activities in
Robot Intelligence, Technology and Applications.



The meeting brings together World Class participants and young researchers
looking for opportunities for exchanges that cross the traditional discipline
boundaries and allows them to resolve multidisciplinary challenging problems
that only a venue of this nature can offer. Through this event you will be able
to share the state-of-the-art developments and cutting-edge technologies in the
broad areas of Robot Intelligence, Technology and Applications.

We would like to strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts and register to
attend in order to share your achievements in the fields of Robot Intelligence,

BIOGRAPHY

Dinesh Manocha is Paul Chrisman-Iribe Chair in Computer Science & ECE and
Distinguished University Professor at University of Maryland College Park. His
research interests include virtual environments, physically-based modeling, and
robotics. His group has developed a number of software packages that are
standard and licensed to 60+ commercial vendors. He has published more than 600
papers & supervised 40 PhD dissertations. He is a Fellow of AAAI, AAAS, ACM, and
IEEE, member of ACM SIGGRAPH Academy, and Bézier Award from Solid Modeling
Association. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Delhi the
Distinguished Career in Computer Science Award from Washington Academy of
Sciences. He was a co-founder of Impulsonic, a developer of physics-based audio
simulation technologies, which was acquired by Valve Inc in November 2016.

BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Simon X. Yang received the B.Sc. degree in engineering physics from
Beijing University, China in 1987, the first of two M.Sc. degrees in biophysics
from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 1990, the second M.Sc.
degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston, USA in 1996,
and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University
of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada in 1999. Prof. Yang joined the School of
Engineering at the University of Guelph, Canada in 1999. Currently he is a
Professor and the Head of the Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems (ARIS)
Laboratory at the University of Guelph in Canada. Prof. Yang has diversified
research expertise. His research interests include robotics, artificial
intelligence, sensors and multi-sensor fusion, wireless sensor networks,
intelligent control, machine learning, fuzzy systems, intelligent communication
and transportation, and computational neuroscience. Prof. Yang he has been very
active in various professional activities. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of
International Journal of Robotics and Automation, and an Associate Editor of
IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions of Artificial Intelligence,
and several other journals. He has involved in the organization of many
international conferences.

BIOGRAPHY

Paulo J.S. Gonçalves is a Professor (Professor Coordenador) of Electrotechnical
and Industrial Engineering with the School of Technology in the Polytechnic
Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. He is also a senior researcher at IDMEC,
Center of Intelligent Systems (CSI), University of Lisbon. He was trained in
Mechanical Engineering, achieving the Licenciatura degree in 1995. He earned the
M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa,
1998 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves presented more than
100 contributions in robotics, vision and computational intelligence. The main
research areas are: Robotics, Knowledge Representation, Computer Vision, Image
Processing, Computational Intelligence, chiefly when applied to Healthcare and
Industry. He is an IEEE Senior Member, a founding member of the Portuguese
Robotics Society, an active member and/or officer for six IEEE standardization
working groups, past chair of the IEEE CIS Portuguese chapter. He is also acts
as an expert of the European Union for the evaluation of project proposals for
several programs within H2020, Horizon Europe, several national funding agencies
within the EU countries, expert of the A3ES (Portuguese Agency for Assessment
and Accreditation of Higher Education - A3ES).

Technical University of Sofia (TUS) and PhD degree in Computer Science from
Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal in 2003. She has
held several visiting positions. In particular, she was a visiting faculty at
Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) - Silicon Valley in 2019 (Fall Semester),
CMU-Pittsburg in 2012 (Fall Semester), an invited professor at Rowan University,
Glassboro, New Jersey, USA in 2016 (Spring Semester), an invited researcher at
the School of Computing and Communications, University of Lancaster, UK in 2010
(Spring Semester). Petia Georgieva was the head of Signal Processing Lab in
IEETA from 2009 to 2013, a member of the Executive Committee of the European
Neural Network Society (ENNS) for 2014-2016, a member of the IEEE Working Group
on ICT (2016-2018). Dr. Georgieva is a Senior member of IEEE and a Senior Member
of International Neural Network Society (INNS). Her research interests include
machine learning, deep learning and data mining with strong focus on brain
computer interfaces, medical imaging, robotics.

BIOGRAPHY

Manuel F. Silva was born on April 11, 1970. He graduated and obtained his MSc
and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of
Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal, in 1993, 1997 and 2005,
respectively. He is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Electrical
Engineering of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (School of
Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto), and a Senior Researcher at INESC TEC
Centre for Robotics in Industry and Intelligent Systems. He was President of the
Portuguese Robotics Society (SPR - Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica), and is a
member of the management team of CLAWAR Association Ltd. He has developed
research in the areas of robotics, process simulation and education in
engineering and robotics, with more than 150 publications in international
scientific journals, conferences and books, with peer review, and has been
actively involved as General/Program Chair in the organization of several
international conferences in the field of robotics and in the organization of
the Portuguese Robotics Open. His research interests focus on the areas of
modelling, simulation, robotics, bio-inspired robotics, control and education in
engineering and robotics.

Professor Igor Temkin graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and
Mathematics with a degree in production of computer systems.. In 1996 he
defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of creating an intelligent
systems in the mining industry. During around 30 years he worked as an
assistant, assistant professor and professor in Moscow State Mining University
(since 2013 -National University of Science and Technology "MISIS"). During last
7 last years leads the Department of Automated Control Systems in NUST MISIS. He
publicated more than 120 scientific and science-education works, 30 of them are
indexed in WoS and Scopus. After his heading 7 PhD thesis have been prepared.
Repeatedly led Russian and international scientific and educational projects. He
is the director of the Fund "Modern Science Education" .

environmental issues, solar energy applications, and agricultural products

Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligent (AI)
for Biosystems Development and Mechanization of Agricultural Operations, through
the following: ➢ Design and development of agricultural machinery, equipment,
structures, and automatic control of smart irrigation systems. ➢ Development of
solar powered systems with environmental control for storage, drying, heating,
and disinfesting of agriculture product. ➢ Using applications of solar energy in
modern irrigation systems, solar powered systems, and greenhouse control
systems. ➢ Development of precision farming technologies and machine vision
methods for agricultural applications (sorting and grading machines, image
processing system, pulsed electric fields technology, and red palm weevil smart

India. Also, he is the Advisor and Head, Department of Computer Applications
(BCA). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of
Madras. He has 28 years of teaching experience. He has guided more than 300
M.Phil., Research Scholars. Also, he has guided 16 Ph.D. scholars and currently
guiding 6 Ph.D. scholars. He has published more than 110 articles in SCOPUS and
SCI indexed journals. He has been elected and served as a Senate Member from
Academic Council, University of Madras. He served as a nominated Senate Member
in the Middle East University, Dubai, UAE. He is a member in Board of studies
for many autonomous institutions and Universities. He is been a resource person
