High performing teams have a few things in common, most importantly, the type of
environment created by the way people communicate. Think of it this way, every
conversation you have is either driving or diminishing your people, and you
often don’t even know it. This class was created to help you realize the simple
things you can do (or stop doing) to take a giant step toward empowering your
people and unlocking their potential for collaboration, innovation and
execution.

High performing teams aren’t built by accident. Culture follows structure. In
this class you will learn and practice a simple, five-step framework, that you
can apply immediately to every conversation you have to sustainably create the
type of environment where your people can thrive.

The BRAVE Framework® is a research-backed system, rooted in the science of
psychological safety, to give leaders a new language of listening that fosters
high performance, optimizes the talent development lifecycle, operationalizes
inclusion and gives leaders the tools to successfully lead through uncertainty.
It is currently being used by leaders at some of the country’s fastest growing
organizations and Fortune 100 companies, as well as by government agencies,
police forces, entrepreneurs and families around the globe, to be the structure
that creates high performing cultures.

Elisabeth Cardiello is a communications expert, who after a decade of owning
Caffe Unimatic, the coffee company featured in the Netflix documentary “Coffee
For All,” deconstructed the conversations she had over coffee. She turned her
findings into a neuroscience-backed framework that gives leaders a step-by-step
process to address the sensitive issues that are often avoided, improve the
quality of their conversations, and hence, build thriving cultures of trust and
transparency.

Elisabeth has given Congressional briefings, spoken at the UN and two TEDx
conferences, been featured by Forbes, NBC, SHRM, Goop, and Virgin’s 100% Human
at Work. She is also the Co-Founder of an education company whose proprietary
methodology builds confidence in young women.

Elisabeth’s mission is to build a world where coffee is the catalyst that
inspires deeper listening, safer spaces and hence, greater access to our own
creativity, productivity, connection, and fulfillment.

How are you today?

Pretty great actually—thanks so much for asking! We hope you’re having a great
day as well.

What time zone are the classes listed in?

All class times are listed in US Eastern Standard Time. We are working to add
more time slots that are time-zone friendly globally.

Does Simon teach any of the classes?

While we wish we could clone Simon, science just isn’t quite there yet. That is
why we’ve trained our Optimist Instructors to teach our classes. However, our
two on-demand courses are taught by Simon – check out Find Your WHY and The Art
of Presenting!

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final for our live online classes, but we’re happy to help you get
rescheduled if you aren’t able to make it!

Is it one ticket per person?

Yes! When you register, you buy a ticket for each person—so one ticket means one
person is attending.

I registered for a class, but how do I join?

When it’s time for class, you can log in here and click on your class under My
Live Online Classes. You should receive reminder emails the day before class and
again two hours before. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see those
reminders in your inbox. We can’t wait to have you join us!

Are your classes taught in multiple languages?

We are always looking to add more class options to accommodate our global
audience. We hope to have some great options for you soon. In the meantime,
Simon’s books have been translated into multiple languages and can be ordered
online.

If I have to miss class, will there be a recording?

We totally understand that schedules can change at the last minute. An unedited
recording is available for 48 hours after class ends for all classes except for
our WHY series.

Can I save money by purchasing multiple classes at once? 

Yes! Buy any three of our 25-minute classes in one purchase and you’ll get the
third class for half-price. This means that if you purchase a bundle of three
25-minute classes, it will cost $100 instead of the full $120. The $20 discount
will be applied to your cart automatically during checkout. If you buy three
25-minute classes in separate transactions, you’ll pay the full price for all
classes. 

Can I purchase a class for my team?

Yes, we have team options! We love that you are looking to take care of those
around you. Your team can join a public class, and you’ll receive a team
discount at checkout when you register 10+ team members.  

If you want a private class just for your team, on a date and time that works
for you, then visit our private class page and our team will be excited to help
you.
