TRAVEL

OGG ✈️

This is the airport you will want to fly into on Maui.

CAR RENTAL

Renting a car in Maui is highly recommended. There are ride share options as
well, but they are slow and can be unreliable. If you plan on exploring, rent a
car. Due to nation wide car rental shortages, we recommend booking your car
ASAP.

RENTALS 🏡

The bride and groom will be staying at Wailea Ekahi Village. This complex is
beach accessible, has great grounds and a few different pools. There are condos
available at this complex and in this area on Airbnb and VRBO. Another great
complex just up the street is Grand Champions. There are many condo and house
rentals all around the island. The wedding will be taking place on the south
side of the island in Makena/Wailea.

THINGS TO DO

FOOD & DRINK 🍹

Our must have foods in Hawaii:
Poke Tacos, Shave Ice, Hula Pie and any kind of rum and coconut cocktail.
 * Monkeypod- Emily's favorite cocktails. Get the Mai Tai shots and the
   Whitewalker. Delicious Poke Tacos. Cute atmosphere, usually with live music
 * Coconut's Fish Cafe- hole in the wall but the BEST tacos!!
 * Sansei Seafood- the best sushi there is. Make a reservation!

GREAT BEACHES ON THE SOUTH SIDE🏝

You can't go wrong with any beach in Hawaii, but especially on the south side.
 * Polo Beach
 * Wailea Beach
 * Mokapu Beach
 * Maluaka Beach- known for turtles and sunsets
 * Makena State Park
 * Makena Cove Beach
 * Po'olenalena Beach- if you can find the secret trail, this beach quickly
   turns into a private beach (there are naked sunbathers here on occasion!)
 * Emily's Beach/Lahaina Beach- if you are at Front Street, this beach is right
   by the elementary school
 * Sugar Beach

ACTIVITIES 🌊

 * Kapalua Trails- wear or bring your swimsuit. There is an amazing beach just
   on the other side of the path past the lava fields. Stop and watch the
   turtles play in the coves.
