The Bahamas, an archipelago of over 700 cays and islands, comprises an island
chain located 80 miles off the coast of Florida and stretching 500 miles
Southeast. Notable for its beauty, it is an idyllic resort destination. Part of
a collection known as The Family Islands, and locally called The Sleeping Giant,
Andros is the largest island composed of three land masses: North, Central, and
South. Steeped in nautical history, Andros Island’s unique location and
geography provide a home for extraordinary marine and wildlife.
