The FUMBBL Bloodbowl Association, in association with the Cabel Vision Network
and the Grotty Little Newspaper are proud to present the FUMBBL Cup!

The FUMBBL Cup is the largest annual tournament sanctioned by the FBBA and
features hundreds of teams clashing in epic matches, all broadcast live to your
choice of viewing platform by Cable Vision.

We bring you the best coaches, the best teams, the living legends and the most
enthusiastic newcomers in this the most lavishly sponsored tournament of the
League.

Any Competitive team can apply here.


Prizes

The winner of the tournament will also receive a Health Scroll (Brings back a
player from death or retirement fully healed). This healing scroll can also be
used on any current or future player that suffers an injury. And of course a
bonus MVP.

Brawls are a weekly drawn tourney for Competitive Division teams and will be run
on the KotH system, meaning the second round pairing will be generated randomly
after the first round is complete.

Please remember that TV is the deciding factor in which Brawl your team will be

between 1200-1400 server time. You will receive a PM that you're in the tourney
when it starts. Tournament announcements on the official FUMBBL Discord #minors
channel. Game announcements will be made in my Leagues Discord, in the Minor
Tournament channel.

All the league news fit to print and then some!

Compiled from across FUMBBL, this is all the news that's come to my little furry
ears. If you know more that is going on, please let razmus know so he can add it
to the next edition, which should be early November. Trying to pull in as much
of what's going on around FUMBBL so folks can find even more ways not to get all
their real-life work done.

The census says that there are 1029 distinct, active coaches on FUMBBL who play
in leagues. Two numbers are given for the range of the league size, because
there isn't a single good indicator. When the numbers are very different - the
league is likely in flux, have some deadwood teams/coaches in their locker
rooms, or be at the start or end of a cycle/season. Numbers very close together
should be pretty close to the 'actual' active coach population (whatever that
means) for the group.

the current season, only a single team has completed their cycle.



Borg InvasionSeasonPerpetualEnvironmentAny/AllSynopsisChaos Renegades teams as
Borg collective. Start vanilla and play against other teams... and as you kill
your opponent's players, you add their unique biological signature to the Borg.
It was challenging under the BB2016 rules, and I suspect it's even harder now.

"I'm not leaking" PurpleChest defiant, as 145 Anniversary cup on the brink.


PurpleChest denies roster leak as 145 Anniversary Cup future on a knife edge.

PurpleChest has angrily denied he had anything to do with the leaked images of
his special roster that threatens to derail the beleaguered 145 Anniversary cup
before it starts. " I didnnt evna want to pyla in the stuipd cup." The famously
ham-thumbed typist and gravel voiced streaming supremo grumbled.

We asked 145 digital image guru, Razmus to give us some insight on the stolen
images. "I can see that PurpleChest as the living legend player seems to come
with multiple skills, but I can only make out, disturbing preference, and thick
skull, perhaps the last one could be 'excuse me are you Orson Wells?" The motive
for PC allegedly leaking the images is unclear but pundits are thinking it's
some form of damage limitation by letting everyone know how bad his team is
before he loses.

The leaked roster is just one more blow to the already under fire 145
anniversary cup. Last week god-like player PeteW (23) openly questioned the ages
of some of the participants, top coach Purplgoo confirmed he wasn't playing and
brainbox boffin MrCushtie used an indisputable journalistic technique known as
making things up to prove that PurpleChest and Purplegoo are in fact the same
person.

"I'm not sure we can run the cup, the PR has been so bad" said spiritual leader
and founder of the 145 Koadah - Just days before it is due to start on the 18th
October. "I'm not sure Christer wants FUMBBL's good name associated with this
catastrophic omnishambles"

Blood Bowl is my game! Part III: The World Cup, day 2
BLOOD BOWL PLAYERS!

We had a World Cup! And what a tournament it was!

On the second day of playing we were going into it with soaring spirits and the
will to push this as far as we could. Showing up late to the morning bus sadly
didn’t help enough with my five-six hours of sleep. At least I got some nice
coffee from a café on the way, as well as a proper sandwich.

With three mostly narrow wins on the first day we are not yet playing the top 10
tables, but the competition is still going to be stiff. On this morning we face
the team Deadline. Awesome guys, and my opponent Miziosaurus was a ball of fun,
so engaged in the game, lots of banter and talk, all while having a great time.

As a reminder, I play one wolf Necromantic, and on this first game of the day I
face Tomb Guardians. They have a bunch of Guard Guardians and start with the
ball, hoping to decimate my team before second half. They get a cage in order
but soon find that they are making very little progress. Forced to push they run
Guardians into my team and hope that I’ll stumble and create a path forward. My
players come through in a big way, Golem and Guard on my part allowing 2d hits,
and then the wolf blitzes and kills the MB Guardian and I tag the ball carrier.
Then he rolls 2d both down/both down rerolled into the same — and it’s a
complete disaster for the Tomb Guardians with a quick turnover. I punch the ball
loose and manage to put it in the hands of a Ghoul. They try to catch on as I
run the side but lack of agility prevents them from keeping up and I’ve got 1-0
defensive TD.

Miziosaurus is not happy, but any anger felt like good competitive anger and
never directed at me, more like that he really cared about what was happening!
Second half he throws everything at me, maximum contact everywhere, because what
else to do? I swing to one side, he can’t hit it but blitzes through to put a TZ
on the ball that I can’t easily move. I need that 3+ dodge to win the game.
Crash! He fails the pick up! While we struggle about halfway up his side of the
pitch time is running out and he runs a single skeleton down my side. I catch it
with a zombie but it blitzes away the zombie and gets out of range before the
very last turn… the Throw-Ra has the ball in front of it, just needs an easy
blitz to move my TZ, then pick up, then long pass, then skeleton catch… it is a
touchdown!!

1-1 and a draw and I got my unlikely pass TD from last night thrown right back
at me today. It’s a great game really, so much fun through both halves, though
maybe my opponent didn’t have as much fun in that first half hah. Our game was
one of the last to end and we soon learn that the total score is 2-3-1, Red Leaf
Mercenaries win!

Deadline coaches kept coming up to cheer us on later in the tournament and I
hope I get a chance to meet them again, to play Blood Bowl or just to hang out!
We had some questionable lunch and we’re off to play table 6! Wow!

Next up is Dömdömdöm and I face Wollo with Wood elves. Sadly this is going to
turn out to be the least enjoyable game of the tournament, not because of my
opponent, but because I will roll absolutely bonkers BS dice for all of the
game, completely dicing Wollo and robbing her of any chance she should
reasonably have had! If anything, this was one of the games where I could feel
that I was likely playing worse than my opponent but like the dice were this did
not matter one bit.

A few highlights: First kickoff I get a blitz and stun a Wardancer. My turn 1: I
dodge a zombie that fouls and kills that Wardancer. Elves probably failed a 2+
dodge here too to let me get the ball somewhere around turn 3-4. I get the other
Wardancer down and I foul. Ref! Argued. Ok it was stunned, let’s foul again.
Ref! Argued. Ok, it’s KO now, let’s foul another elf. Ref! Argued.

You see, it was just absolute insanity. Due to me not playing very well the game
ended up at just 1-0 and that means that the elves could have possibly stolen
the game somewhere, because they sure tried, but this was not that day.

Red Leaf mercenaries took home another narrow win, meaning we were 5 for 5! I am
happy that Wollo sought me out on the following day to have a chat, so we could
leave it all on good terms and with smiles, because walking away from the game
on day 2 neither of us felt good about it. Thank you, and let’s have a rematch
that isn’t all bonkers one day.

Table 3! Let’s goooo! We get Valhalla United and I get to speak Swedish for my
last game of the day, facing Sindragosa with Amazons. In this match up we also
faced SpoiledSquid that I met on my first day in Alicante and his Goblins, but
he ended up being totally crushed by Hovring’s Dark elf team.

I opt to receive, hoping to reduce the number of zons in play. Solid defense, I
only knock down 1 player and then fail the pick up. The pressure is on and I’m
scrambling, trying to protect the ball. I manage to back away but I’m down in
numbers. I take some 2d blocks that needed POWs and when I don’t get it I’m out
of position, and when the ball goes loose it bounces 4 steps away from my player
and next turn it is in the hands of ST4 amazon. That was the last I really saw
of the ball this game.

I don’t remember much about second half. I had eleven players, so we had a real
fight, but being 0-1 already the zons didn’t need to push it and I don’t think I
got anywhere near scoring back. Game ended like that so I guess my defence held
reasonably well without breaking the other team. I think I managed to keep a
smile on for this game as well, though there was a rush of some bad turns in the
early game. We had a good time in all and we kept talking some more next day.
Sindragosa took a win for her team but Valhalla ended up being beaten by 3/2/1 I
believe, so RLM were now 6 for 6!

I ended the day on 1/1/1 again, and the team with another 3/0/0, meaning we were
going to play table 2 tomorrow morning. Minds blown, we are already so way past
what we had set out to do and really, we have already won this competition for
any way that we could have imagined.

Sandune had a harder day with 1/1/1 too, and everyone on the team had some point
where they got a tougher game, fearing that their loss meant that the team had
lost the round. But on each such occasion we would look up and find our team
reassuring us, it’s fine, the rest of us took our games! And that was such an
amazing feeling, that at all the right times the team was there and we carried
each other, though on day 2 Hercules really brought us all the way with a 2/1/0
record. But not only was that a great record vs tough opponents, when his last
opponent was leaning towards some rage due to an awful run of dice, he just
charmed his way through that and they came out on the other side seeming like
great friends. What an amazing skill to have!

On the bus home Historic was getting news from the network of french players
about the results on the top tables, we would be playing The Mad Hateful Seven
tomorrow morning. The best team from Spain, looking to take the tournament for
the home country. And wow, such amazing NAF records these guys have…

That’s a thing for tomorrow, tonight we celebrate! A feast, and drinks! And a
decision to just have the best possible time tomorrow, whatever may come. We
talk about the Seven. We talk about COCORIPOW. And we talk about that having
some beer might have helped relaxing during that last round.

It is the best of times in Alicante and a lot of people seem excited about our
success too, so that’s fun. I get home too late again, I end up grabbing a taxi
to get there. Good night. What can we possibly do tomorrow?

3e Journée - JBL - Saison 32



3e JOURNEE :


Apres un lancement anticipé courant aout et la pseudo trêve pour la Coupe du
Monde à Alicante, on a repris le rythme d'un match tous les 10 jours et on ne
peut pas dire que ça soit facile pour tout le monde.

ANNONCE => Comme vous avez pu le remarquer, Phags qui n'est pas la cette saison,
a laissé son siège de commissaire vacant et la direction apres avoir lancé un
appel à candidature via discord n'a eu qu'une seule réponse. C'est donc avec
joie que je vous annonce la prise de poste de Caracolito, notre ancien
journaliste sportif qui prend la place laissée libre et ce pour une durée
indéterminée. Phags conserve toutefois ses privilèges et continue de voter pour
les diverses réunions de la ligue, en espérant un retour de notre ami sur les
terrains de JBL.

Pour info, la deadline de la prochaine journée, 4e du nom, court jusqu'au 20
octobre minuit.


# QUELQUES INFOS EN BREF:

Pour ce 3e tour de la saison qui vient de s'écouler, c'est un duo de joueurs qui
va recevoir le titre de mvp de la journée.
" Miss Erable" des Oursons des Ardennes de Norn, avec 9spp, 1 passe réussie, 2
sorties et un titre de jpv du match.
" William Palehawk" des T-Gex de Cedrix, avec aussi 9 spp et 3 touchdowns
inscrits.

Ils permettent donc à leur équipe et coach, à minima, de conserver leur rang de
renommée, bravo à eux 2 pour ce trophée.




Divisions Nord Jupiler
Grosse bataille dans cette division avec 3 équipes en tête avec 12 points. les
autres sont en embuscade, on remarquera un grand écart entre les 2 équipes de
l'alliance du vieux monde qui se retrouvent première et dernière.

Divisions Sud Jupiler
Silkoun et Lautrehammon ne partagent rien avec les autres, un sans faute de la
part des deux équipes, les miettes pour les autres pour le moment. ça va être
compliqué de les déloger des 2 places qualificatives de leur division pour les
playoffs.

Divisions Ouest Jupiler
Les amazones de Nicodaz nouvellement inscrit en JBL sont implacables pour leurs
adversaires, un quasi sans fautes et surtout un petit matelas sur les
poursuivants. le reste de la division est tres serré pour le moment avec
seulement 7 pts entre le second et le dernier.

Divisions Est Jupiler
Comme pour les 2 divisions du dessus, Lokragen et les skavs des Skarognards de
Skyre sont sans partage, la franchise skaven a semble t'il trouvé le bon coach
pour les reconduire à nouveau vers le titre JBL, on verra avec le temps.
derrière, ça bataille sévère avec seulement 4 pts entre les 5 autres équipes.


Assurément les divisions de la conférence Budweiser font un meilleur début de
saison que celles de la Jupiler, 206 pts contre seulement 184 pts de l'autre
côté.

Divisions Nord Budweiser
Pilaf en tête de gondole avec les Ducs de Middenheim juste derrière gvtm et
Mini-Franck, nouveau arrivants en JBL sont en embuscade, toujours aucun point
pour les nains de Thaum.

Divisions Sud Budweiser
Malgré leur dernier revers, les Oursons des Ardennes sont bien en tête de la
division et pourraient aller en playoffs donc cette saison. mais la division est
assez homogène, 2 pts entre les autres équipes, ça va être une âpre discussion.

Divisions Ouest Budweiser
Voilà la division la plus forte de la ligue jusqu'ici avec pas moins de 63 pts
engrangés. un trio se détache pour le moment avec Fxiii, Tulkas et Lebarbu mais
personne n'est laché dans la division et les 3 équipes n'ayant pas encore joué
leur match de j4 peuvent rebattre les cartes.

Divisions Est Budweiser
Grosse division la encore, il reste un match entre les Cute Heroes et les
Everbold Unicorns qui devrait se jouer ce soir. Pour le moment les gardiens des
tombes sont un solide leader même si les sylvains de Karkass malgré un mauvais
debut de saison reviennent dans la course. On attend aussi un peu plus des
champions en titre, les altherat de Kartof d'Historic, on verra sur la prochaine
journée.

Major Blood Bowl League 6 - Fin de journée 2

journée des qualifications de Major League 6 ! Je vous pose ma traditionnelle
question, mon cher Huggy, comment allez-vous ?
- Je ne saurais aller mieux, mon élégant partenaire !
- Diantre, Huggy, cette thérapie est redoutable. Je suis en tout cas ravi de
vous voir en si bonne forme !
- C'est ce bel air printanier qui me met en joie, je crois !
- On n'est pas exactement au printemps, Huggy !
- Mais quel pisse-froid tu fais ! Aller, envoie les groupes, ça nous fera de
l'air !
- Ha, je vous retrouve. Tout de suite la conférence Nord.



- J'vais commencer par le retour aux affaires des championnes de saison 3, mon
gars.
- Le Mordheim Convent, donc.
- C'est bien, t'as révisé ton histoire de la MBBL. Ouais, le Convent, qui a
montré au Squig Bomb' qui était Raoul !
- Je ne comprends pas, Huggy.
- T'es trop jeune c'est pour ça ! En résumé : elles ont dynamité, dispersé,
ventilé... et gagné 4-0.
- Une sacrée démonstration de force ! Et les soeurs ont enchainé avec leur
journée 3 sur le même rythme ! Et cette fois ce sont les pauvres Sotek's
Sprinters qui en ont fait les frais : 4-1.
- J'pense que les skinks étaient encore dans le brouillard après leur incroyable
défaite de journée 2.
- Ils avaient pourtant les choses en main contre les Quetza Rattlers, mais ils
ont complètement déjoué. La victoire aisée qui leur tendait les bras s'est
transformée en défaite et les Rattlers ont emmagasiné des points à défaut de
confiance.
- A l'heure d'affronter la Dynastie du soleil ils auront 3 absents, dont un
saurus.
- La Dynastie justement, devait affronter les redoutables mangeurs de saucisses
en journée 2.
- Exact, mais une indigestion à la merguez a obligé la ligue à repousser le
match.
- Espérons qu'il soit joué cette semaine, qu'on puisse y voir plus clair dans ce
groupe !






- En conférence EST, on a assisté à une belle résistance des outsiders.
- Attention, bonhomme, là tu parles des chapeaux de la FIFA, mais les 3 équipes
dont tu parles ont été formées cette année ou la saison passée, elles sont en
pleine ascension !
- Les Toxic City Titans ont en tout cas fait face à une équipe des Dornegans
proprement déchainée ! Une pression constante sur les joueurs de Nurgle et une
victoire 3-0 qui les fait remonter en troisième place, en embuscade des équipes
de Zhar Naggrund.
- Effectivement, ils sont juste derrière la Thunder Kaos Team, qui n'a pas su
distiller son habituel touchdown arraché au tour 8 mais qui a préservé la
virginité de son arrière zone dans ce 0-0 face au Karaz Ankor.
- Euh... Huggy, vos propos...
- Ben quoi ?
- Non, rien, faisons comme si de rien n'était. Le Karaz Ankor marque là ses
premiers points et a peut être gagné un peu de confiance.
- Leur en faudra pour contrarier les Kamyaka Kingdom Keepers en journée 3.
- Effectivement, Huggy, car les Hashut Corrupters ont proprement roulé sur le
Royaume de l'Inde en seconde période pour remporter leur seconde victoire, sur
le score de 1-0. On a senti les tigres bien remontés en fin de match, ils ont
même tué un nain ! Mais ça n'a pas changé la marque.
- Ben tu vois, j'suis quand même inquiet pour les Corrupters, ils auraient tout
à fait pu encaisser un touchdown en première mi-temps et j'ai trouvé qu'ils se
sont vite déconcentrés en seconde.
- Vous n'avez pas tort Huggy, mais pour le moment ils ont assuré 2 victoires, à
eux de savoir repousser les envies d'ascension des Dornegans au prochain tour.
- Ouais, ouais.
- Ha on me signale un résultat de dernière minute : en avance sur la journée 3,
les Toxic City Titans ont arraché un match nul au Thunder Kaos Team.
- Et moi on me signale que les nains du chaos ont joué en slip, apparemment, ils
ont eu 4 joueurs de moins que les Titans en seconde période.
- La Kaos Team doit encore affronter les Keepers et les Corrupters, espérons
pour eux qu'ils ne regrettent pas ces points perdus en route.





- Ha, on arrive à la conférence OUEST !
- Vous êtes pressé de parler des AVC, Huggy ?
- Carrément mon gars ! T'as vu le match ? Quelle rigolade !
- C'est pour ça qu'on les aime. Et ils ont gagné, en plus.
- Oui, bon, ça, je ne sais pas s'ils l'ont fait exprès, mais on a encore eu
droit au meilleur : les bombes sur leurs propres joueurs, le rouleau qui se sort
tout seul, quelle équipe !
- Le Flingoshima regrettera longtemps l'issue du match, je le crains, ils
avaient parfaitement jaugé leur adversaire, il me semble, mais ils ont néanmoins
cédé.
- Les rats ont d'ailleurs enchainé avec la journée 3, et de belle manière !
- C'est vrai, mais parlons de leur adversaire en premier lieu : le Chaotic
Offering. Un bien drôle de match face à des Grudgebearers en pleine réussite.
- Le match était très indécis et il a semblé pendant un bon moment que les
joueurs du Chaos parviendraient à contrer et à l'emporter, mais un nain
n'abandonne jamais et suite à un renvoi de leurs supporters vers l'embut, les
petits barbus ont marqué le 2-1 inespéré.
- Sans doute pour ça que les Chaotic ont voulu enchainer : passer à autre chose,
avoir enfin une victoire.
- Et oui, mais les AVC ne se sont pas laissé faire, et s'ils ont encore offert
de belles séquences amusantes, les rats ont toutefois assuré un 1-1
encourageant.
- Le groupe accuse toutefois du retard à cause des 2 têtes de série. Z'ont pas
l'air pressés de jouer !
- A l'heure où nous publions ce billet, il n'est pas certain que le match ait
lieu, les amazones se sont plaintes des conditions de transport et ont déposé un
préavis de grève.
- Le match promettait, c'est dommage, m'enfin comme ça on peut afficher les AVC
en tête de leur groupe !





- En conférence SUD les tables ont été renversées, Huggy !
- Faudrait faire des recherches, j'suis pas sûr qu'on avait déjà vu les 2 têtes
de série d'un groupe tomber de concert lors de la même journée de qualification.
- Et qui plus est sur le même score sans appel de 2-0.
- Ouais. Le Jam Delicacy avait ouvert le bal en s'inclinant face au Tribute to
Revans.
- Ils ont non seulement perdu le match, Huggy, mais au bilan des blessures,
c'est 2-2, et ça, c'est encore pire pour Khorne, non ?
- Des rumeurs persistantes depuis la fin de saison 5 laissent penser que le
coach est sur un siège éjectable...
- Belle opération pour les Revans qui reviennent dans la course à la
qualification avec cette victoire, et le Jam s'enfonce, il n'aura plus le droit
à l'erreur désormais.
- J'suppose que c'est d'autant plus gênant que le Foulympico des égouts l'a
imité ensuite.
- Les rats ont subi la pression des Corsaires de Sartosa, et pour une fois, Herr
Pès-Tilence n'a pas sauvé son équipe, il est apparu particulièrement maladroit
même.
- Il a tant fait pour le Foulympico, et je suis sûr qu'il reviendra plus fort
encore !
- Le dernier match de la J2 opposait des Raiders qui avaient un peu déçu lors de
leur première sortie, à des Firrara Tintori en bonne forme.
- Un match assez étrange si tu veux mon avis : une attaque en berne, une
égalisation arrachée, dans le stade tout le monde pensait que les Raiders
allaient l'emporter t'vois.
- Mais les Tintori se sont accrochés et avec ce 1-1, ils restent en tête du
groupe avec les pirates.
- Oui, c'était vrai jusqu'à hier, car les Raiders et les Corsaires ont enchainé
!
- Et les Raiders ont une nouvelle fois été frustrés !
- Victoire 2-1 des pirates, effectivement, qui ne sont plus très loin d'une
qualification historique !
- Surtout que le calendrier les a placés face aux 3 équipes supposées les plus
fortes du groupe, l'occasion qui se présente à eux est vraiment à saisir !
- J'en reviens au Foulympico et au Delicacy qui ne se sont pas encore affrontés,
quelle tension pour ces 2 franchises historiques !







En Minor league, le classement est chamboulé par les remontées spectaculaire du
Clan Destin après sa victoire 3-0 sur les Rédempteurs d'Albion et des Horreurs
Hurlantes qui ont disposé 2-0 des Khsar'par Sphinx. A l'inverse, les Seeweed
Delicacy et les Semi-faisandés et les Dents de la terre accusent les plus fortes
chutes en raison de leurs contre-performances. En haut du tableau, les T-Chicken
Ham continuent de mener la danse, poursuivis par un trio d'équipes à égalité de
points : les Smashers Macheurs, le Nurgle Horror Circus et les Fanatical
Killers. Malgré des prestations encourageantes, les Death All Stars, l'Amicale
Malefosse et les Evil Stig ne décollent pas. Enfin, suite à leur match nul, les
Rising Sun Exiles et les Mango Mangrove Moongooses restent en bas de tableau.

La troisième journée devrait apporter quelques clarifications, et offrira son
lot de duels à ne pas manquer :

- Les Dornegans font un bond en avant de 12 places.
- Belle progression également (13 places) des Corsaires de Sartosa, mais avec un
match de plus.
- Plusieurs gamelles de -8 places pour Evil Stig, Semi-faisandés et Flingoshima,
ces équipes vont se reprendre c'est sûr !
- Nouvelle descente (de 5 places) pour le Jam Delicacy. Si un tirage au sort
avait lieu aujourd'hui, ils seraient placés dans le chapeau 4 ! ça fait désordre
pour une équipe habituée aux chapeaux 1 ou 2. Leur réveil risque de faire mal !
