THERE IS ONE OFFICIAL BBDO LOGO

To be used in representing the company name. For certain offices that use BBDO
in conjunction with another identity name (i.e. Clemenger BBDO) there are
suggestions on the following page.
The logo as it is to be generally used has one color for the primary BBDO logo
(Red Pantone 1795).




LOGO CONSTRUCTION

Our logo was create from the font we used, Gotham. We removed the spacing
between the letters and made the letters “BBDO” a shape, for the brand to adapt
both to being used alone, as well as being used as a mask in layouts.

LOGO CLEARSPACE

The protection area, protects the logo and the noise symbol may Compromising
it’s readability.

No graphics should invade this area, only the background color or photograph
where the logo and/or symbol are applied.

The magenta lines in the diagram besides, determine the protection area of the
brand in relation to corners, other marks and graphic elements.




LOGO SCALE

For readability and recognition of the logo and symbol are preserved, in the
diagram on the side was established minimum sizes for print media (mm) and
digital (px).

we had to define rules that bring unity to the brand, ensuring that the new logo
works in such a complex system.






02.TYPE


OUR TYPE IS GOTHAM

We chose a strong and striking font. The Gotham.

The Gotham typefac was designed by Jonathan Hoefler and Tobias Frere-Jones in
2000.
A sans serif that shares many attributes of typography’s ‘geometric’ genus,
Gotham was inspired by a style of bold capital letters that evolved outside the
typographic tradition in the early twentieth century, common to lithographed
posters, enamel signs, and commercial facades throughout New York City.

RGB COLOR

Contemporary brands have become increasingly digital, and one of the visual
codes of this universe is the vibrant colors inspired by canvases.
To connect the new BBDO brand to current times, we made the red even more
resonant, referring to the RGB of screens. The result is a bolder, more
attractive, and more confident palette.
