+ 🎤 GET BETTER AT SPEAKING WITH AI + 🤖 AI THAT OFFERS LIFE ADVICE

ENTERPRISE DNA PRESENTS

Hello folks,

For both sides, the job interview process is not ideal.

Companies spend millions of dollars and several days finding the right
candidate. Candidates spend weeks preparing for their dream jobs.

AI is here to change yet another landscape - here are the best tools for
interviews…

In this issue:

 * 📕 Learn Something: Make interviews more efficient

 * 💥 Trending Tool: Get better at speaking with AI

 * 🙃 Something Fun: AI that offers life advice

Let’s get right into it…

📕 LEARN SOMETHING
Make interviews more efficient

We want to see this from both sides - the hiring manager and the candidate.

We’ll do the hiring manager side now, but stay tuned next Friday for the
candidate side

IF YOU’RE A HIRING MANAGER…

1/ BrightHire

This tool integrates AI into every single step of the interview process:

 * It creates structured interview plans, including questions, based on the role
you’re hiring for (job description —> interview plan)

 * During the interview, it records and transcribes interviews and provides
AI-powered notes and scorecards based on their responses 🤯

Here’s the crazy part, the tool also gives the interviewer live guidance and
feedback.

Perhaps they missed an easy follow up question? perhaps they should act more
motivated?

2/ Interviewer.AI

This tool lets you do 100s of interviews at once. How? The power of asynchronous
video software.

Basically, companies screen thousands of candidates by letting a robot / AI do
the first-round interview for them, asynchronously.

The AI then analyzes the responses and selects the best candidate to move on to
the next round.

I have mixed feelings here - it’s definitely faster and more efficient, but
there’s no longer a personal touch.

I tried it, and oh boy my interview score was horrible… 😆

3/ Sapia.ai

Sapia lets you screen and interview thousands of candidates at the same time via
both text chat and video interviews. It also assess candidates using AI

What’s different about this?

 * Most loved by candidates (9/10 average candidates happiness)

 * An AI that you can understand, called FAIR

 * A near complete removal of bias from their AI assessments

💥 TRENDING TOOL
Get better at speaking with AI

Shadowing.ai lets you practice interviews and get real-time feedback. Basically,
an AI powered interview preparation tool.

You select the position you’re interviewing for, and then record yourself
answering a few questions in an interview setting.

AI then provides you analytics on your performance.

The really cool part is that it not only rates you on soft skills like
confidence, voice, structure, but also on knowledge!

It compares your answer to technical questions and compares them to the expected
answer.

It boasts that it’s recorded and analyzed over 2M interviews!

🙃 SOMETHING FUN
AI that offers life advice

Google's DeepMind unit is currently developing a range of AI-driven tools
designed to provide life advice, planning, and tutoring.

This is scary as Google's own AI safety experts had previously warned about
potential risks associated with AI-powered life advice tools, such as
compromised well-being and reduced personal agency.

In June, the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) removed its chatbot as
it was providing very bad advice on how to tackle eating disorders 😨

Now, AI is even stepping into the realms of life and business coaches, offering
people a 24/7 human-like advice.

What do you think? How far will this go?

SHOULD AI GO EVEN FURTHER INTO OUR PERSONAL LIVES?

What do you think?
 * Yes! The more, the better
 * Fine as it is now (neutral)
 * No! We need to roll back - we rely too much on AI
