We help 18 year olds learn what documents they need to be legally protected and
to continue receiving parental support if they choose to do so.

About the Workshop




DID YOU KNOW...

When a child turns 18, their parents no longer have any parental legal rights
over their young adult, unless they have the proper legal documents!

Why is this important?

In the case of an accident, the parents of an 18-year-old CANNOT make medical
decisions without certain documentation.

Without HIPAA authorization, hospitals can’t even release details about the
medical prognosis of the patient.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

A Colorado native, Amy Danneil is a mom to twin boys and a daughter. Since 2008,
Amy’s estate planning law practice has focused on helping people get organized
and feel comfortable planning for their families and assets.

As a parent, Amy knows the confusion and worry when it comes to preparing her
kids for adulthood. It’s her mission to make this transition as easy as possible
for both parents and their kids!
