My fiance and I have been together for about 3 years.

We got engaged 6 months ago.

We were doing some planning and she mentioned "Where do you think "late
husband's name" Pic could go?

I was confused, and asked her to clarify.

She said she wants her late husband's picture at the wedding, she went into more
detail, at my request.

She wants one of the bridesmaids to hold his picture during the ceremony. As
well as having his Pic on our table. And when taking Pics, she wants to hold him
in most pictures.

I told her that I didn't want that, and while I understand he's important to
her, I'd feel uncomfortable with his pictures in our wedding, especially when
they're so prominent.

We got into a fight and she yelled "I can't believe you're jealous! He's fucking
dead! What, do you think I'm gonna fuck him at our wedding?"

I decided to postpone the wedding, and honestly, I'm thinking of calling it off
all together.

I WATCHED A MAN DIE THIS MORNING AND I AM STRUGGLING TO PROCESS IT.

Sending this off into the void, typing it out as a means of trying to process
it.

I dropped my wife off at the airport this morning and started to head home, when
a woman in a sedan crossed the highway without looking. A man on a motorcycle
doing 60+ hit her head on, and he flew about 20 feet right in front of my truck.
His body was just lying in the middle of the highway in front of me, bleeding
from his head, and he died almost immediately. I have never witnessed death, and
it was very disturbing to watch someone die right in front of me so
traumatically. There was nothing I could do, by the time I got to him he was
dead. Several nurses and doctors who were driving to work came running over, but
it was too late, and so we just stood there trying to shield his body from other
drivers until the police showed up.

Now, I cannot stop replaying it in my head, seeing his lifeless body crumpled in
the road, wondering who he was, if he had a family, if he was in pain as he died
or if it was instantaneous and painless.. I know it’s depressing, and I am
completely fine, I was not involved in the accident - but it is still bothering
me a lot.

Edit: I just wanted to say thank you to everyone. I did not intend for anyone to
read or respond to this post, I figured it would just be a cathartic thing to
do.

About five hours ago, after posting, I found a baby squirrel in my yard, injured
and alone. I was able to get him cleaned up and dress his little wounds and
brought him to a small animal hospital - they think he will make it. It has been
a weird day of death and also happiness taking care of that little guy. It
really helped me clear my mind and focus on something positive. Thank you all
again for your kind words and advice.

❤️‍🩹 RELATIONSHIP AIO MY GIRLFRIEND ANGRILY GRABBED MY FACE

My girlfriend [30F] and I [30M] were on a road trip with some friends recently.
For the last leg, her friend was driving and the two of us were in the back
seat. The friend was going to drop us off at a train station, and my gf and I
would get on a train to our town. The trip hadn't been as relaxing as we had
hoped for, and we were both a bit tired.

About half an hour into the journey, I ask my girlfriend if she thinks we would
have time for a meal at the train station before getting on the train. We had
fought once or twice on the holiday, so I planned to treat her. She said we
didn't have time, and I said ok.

I honestly said "ok" as neutrally as possible. My girlfriend heard a
dismissive/passive-aggressive "ok 🙄" and immediately lost it. She hates feeling
disrespected.

She started whisper-fighting with me saying things like "how dare you talk to me
like that" and "you need to think really hard about how you want to treat me".

I froze, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, when she goes nuclear like this - not
often, but 2-3 times a year - it feels like anything that I do/say is liable to
make the situation worse (and experience seems to back this up, I have never
successfully calmed her down from this state). Secondly, because it was so
thoroughly unexpected; I was just asking about plans, and the next thing I knew,
this was happening. Thirdly, because it was in the back seat of her friend's car
while the friend was driving us. I point-blank refused to get into any kind of
argument/disagreement in this kind of setting. I felt completely trapped and
ambushed.

So I was just staring straight ahead, drilling a hole into the headrest in front
of me, when my girlfriend reached across, grabbed my chin, and forcibly pulled
my face to face hers and snarled "look at me when I'm talking to you".

I can't really remember a lot of what happened after that, but I stayed silent
and eventually the rest of the trip to the train station was silent.

I was honestly kind of terrified, and it's not the first time this has happened
- about a year ago, we got into a fight while walking, and when I tried to ask
for a 10-minute break to cool down (which we had agreed on as a cool-down
mechanism), she refused. When I said "ok, you're allowed to keep talking, but I
will stay silent for 10 minutes and just walk to our destination" and tried to
keep walking, she grabbed my arm and again accused me of being disrespectful
towards her.

I've told her if she ever touches me in anger again, the relationship is over.
Am I overreacting? Am I underreacting?

Thought about this given he just appeared as part of the Olympics closing
ceremony, it seems so weird to me that someone with such a shady past can just
go about having a normal life like nothing happened. I get that he’ll continue
getting jobs because he’s a big movie star that generates income but surely they
must have some form of morals. Whenever he does interviews from what I’ve seen
Scientology is never mentioned, none of the serious allegations against the
church or him abandoning his family for the cult. His daughter even changed her
last name to cut out any connection from the deadbeat dad. He responded by on
the day of her high school graduation by going to a Taylor Swift concert in
London where he knew he’d be spotted on camera. Who does something like that?
