PDFPOWER

Coldfusion developers can now harness the power of XEP Engine in their
applications. PDFpower is a complete, out-of-the-box package which includes at
the core, the XEP Engine preconfigured to work with your ColdFusion MX
Enterprise installation.

Since XEP Engine is at the core, you have all the "power" you need to generate
high-quality typographic output. Unlike other solutions on the market, this is
not just a simple PDF representation of HTML styling. With PDFpower, you can use
XSL FO (XSLFO) to create superior quality energized output with flowing text,
multiple columns, multiple page layouts, floats, SVG and much more. PDFpower
also supports the full range of PDF security, allowing you to create dynamic,
high-quality and secure PDFs directly from ColdFusion applications.

ColdFusion MX can now easily be used to generate dynamic content in a
pre-defined XSL FO (XSLFO) stylesheet where the stylesheet is transformed by XEP
Engine to produce customized PDF as output to the user. PDFpower installs within
your ColdFusion application environment with a servlet connection to the XEP
Engine. You can use either XSL FO (XSLFO) or XML paired with an XSL stylesheet
to provide dynamic transformation of content to PDF or even Postscript output.

LICENSING INFORMATION


PDFpower is licensed exactly like ColdFusion MX Enterprise, a single license is
required for each ColdFusion MX Enterprise license (that is, it is licensed for
up to a 2-CPU installation). Additional licenses may be purchased in 2-CPU
increments.

Extended Support is available with server purchases. Extended Support customers
enjoy free access to all point releases for feature enhancements and bug fixes
within the current major version. Current Extended Support customers also are
granted new major releases at a significant discount off list price. Contact
