HOLIDAY HOURS
The College will be closed for the holidays from Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020,
through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021. The College will reopen Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, and
spring 2021 classes will begin Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021. New students can visit
cfcc.edu/admissions to submit an admissions application. Continuing and already
accepted students can register and pay online with Self-Service by logging into
your myCFCC account.

WEATHER ALERT
CFCC TO CLOSE AT NOON MONDAY, AUG. 3 AND REMAIN CLOSED TUESDAY, AUG. 4 DUE TO
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Cape Fear Community College will close at all campus locations for students,
faculty, and staff in anticipation of inclement weather resulting from
hurricane/tropical storm Isaias beginning noon Monday, Aug. 3 through Tuesday,
Aug. 4.
ONLINE CLASSES
Online classes will continue as scheduled, however, students experiencing
connectivity issues due to the storm should contact their instructors as soon as
possible.
FALL 2020 REGISTRATION
Students who would like to register for the fall 2020 semester can still do so
via cfcc.edu. However, the virtual One-Stop Enrollment event scheduled for
Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, has been canceled. Additional enrollment events will be
scheduled after the storm passes.
UPDATES AND FURTHER INFORMATION
CFCC will continue to monitor weather conditions reported by the National
Weather Service and in collaboration with local and state agencies. CFCC will
share updates via CFCC Alerts, CFCC email, on cfcc.edu, and on social media
feeds.
