Description

Banquet & Event Managers are the pilots that keep our fantastic events in the
sky. We're looking for full and part-time Banquet & Event Managers to direct all
aspects of our private events at our partner venues such as Summerfest and State
Fair; and exclusive venues (like this one! https://fb.watch/v/1WloE_O24/ ) all
over the Milwaukee area! If you've led off-site catering events, worked as a
banquet captain for on-site catering or were a supervisor or manager in the
hospitality field, this could be the fit for you!


Our Banquet & Event Managers make lots of things happen, including:


• Managing all aspects of events including client and vendor activities,
timelines, and layouts;
• Working closely with our culinary team, Sales Managers & Event Planners to
ensure excellent customer transition from idea to contract to execution;
• Setting up, maintaining and breaking down events;
• Showing our clients that we're The Finest at all times, even when under
pressure;
• Managing the organization and storage areas of all event equipment,
decorations, etc;
• Training and overseeing event staff including serving techniques and customer
service skills;
• Attending meetings and creating event-related documents


Pay for this hourly role ranges from $20-25/hour and is based on experience. Our
Banquet & Event Managers have the potential to make between $46K and $56K per
year with full time status and available overtime. Settle into the team, and
after 90 days, you get a $1000 bonus!

Requirements

To be a star in this role, you'll need to master the things below.


• At least a year of experience working as a supervisor or manager in the
hospitality field.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Creative thinking and quickly resolving issues independently.
• Exemplary customer service standards. Always go the extra mile to satisfy our
clients;
• Keeping calm under pressure;
• Thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment;
• Being self-motivated, highly-organized, positive with a good attention to
detail;
• Working many evenings, weekends and holidays;
• Valid Driver’s License required to operate a variety of company-owned
vehicles.


Essential job functions include:


•Frequent travel by automobile to attend client meetings, visit sites, events
etc.
•Stand or sit up to 12 hours at a time
•Climb stairs, frequently while carrying items
•Lift up to 50 lbs to chest level or above
•Communicate verbally and in writing in English
•Operate a computer to access the internet and work proficiently within a
variety of software programs
