More About Us EXPLORE OUR PROGRAM INITIATIVES EVERYONE CHARGING FORWARD™ In 2023, the Siemens Foundation launched EVeryone Charging Forward™ a 10-year $30 million initiative to drive inclusive workforce development in the electric vehicle charging sector. EVeryone Charging Forward™ is creating pathways to well-paying, sustainable jobs in the EV charging sector for individuals from underrepresented communities. EVeryone Charging Forward™ WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT The Siemens Foundation launched its workforce development efforts in 2015 to help close the opportunity gap for young adults in STEM technical careers. Leveraging the experience and expertise of Siemens as an industry leader and pioneer in workforce development, the Foundation identified this crucial area as a place where we can have an important impact on America's workforce. Workforce Development Partners and Projects HEALTH EQUITY We believe our responsibility as a corporate citizen requires us to increase awareness of health, economic, and social disparities and to invest in organizations and programs that work to reduce and/or eliminate those disparities. Health Equity Work and Partners SIEMENS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS The Siemens Career Path and Siemens Merit Scholarship Programs seek to award scholarships proportionally and equitably to children of non-exempt and exempt employees at Siemens companies. Scholarships for Children of Siemens Employees SOCIAL INVESTING The Siemens Foundation and Northern Trust have invested a combined $20M in Community Development Financial Institutions. SIEMENS FOUNDATION AWARDS $3M TO THE FAMILIES & WORKERS FUND TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS PURSUING TRAINING IN THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING SECTOR The Siemens Foundation announced a $3M grant to the Families and Workers Fund's (FWF) Powering Climate and Infrastructure Careers for All, a pooled fund to leverage large-scale investments that ensure individuals from historically marginalized communities have access to the clean economy. As part of the Siemens Foundation’s EVeryone Charging Forward™ workforce development initiative, the grant will ensure accessible career pathways for all in the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector. EVITP AND MUST WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCE NEW "ELECTRIC FAST TRACK" WORK-BASED LEARNING INITIATIVE The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program and MUST Workforce Solutions have partnered to provide EVITP Training & Certification for existing qualified electricians and to engage traditionally underrepresented communities through a unique "Electric Fast Track" paid career exploration program.
