Information Performing a Trouble Reset can clear many Konica Minolta error codes. Follow these steps to reset this error: Malfunction detected please call your technical representative. Step 1: Turn off the machine using the main power button located behind the front door where the machine’s model number is displayed or on the right side of the MFP. Some older models have the main power button in the back of the machine. Do not turn off the power button on the control panel. Step 2: Press and hold the yellow reset button and turn on the main power. Do not let go of the reset button until a screen appears which has a numbered keypad and says, Trouble Reset. Step 3: Touch Trouble Reset on the screen. A downward pointing arrow and OK should appear. Step 4: Switch off the main power. Step 5: Wait 25 - 30 seconds before turning the power back on. Step 6: Wait for the machine to reboot. An orange light will be blinking while the machine is rebooting. The error should clear. On older models, power off the unit and hold down the Utility/Counter button. Keep the Utility/Counter button held down while turning the power back on until a black dot appears in the top right of the control panel, then release. A downward pointing arrow and OK should appear. Switch off the power, wait 10 seconds then turn the power back on. After a short reboot, the error should clear.
