Our goal has always been to create and maintain relationships with our clients
and work with them long-term. Of course we have a standard Cleaning Checklist we
follow to deliver the highest quality cleaning around (read more in Team of
Professionals), but we know that people's needs change and we are dedicated to
working with each client on a customized cleaning plan based on those changing
needs.
We want to be there when our client goes from downtown bachelorette-pad to
shacking up with their partner of choice, from finding a starter-home and
adopting their first dog to adding a cat, a free-range house rabbit and then a
kid. We want to be there to help with the kid clutter and the pet hair
tumbleweeds. And, years and years later, we want to help with the eventual
process of simplification.
And we want to be there for our client who chooses to forgo all the above and
journey through life on a different set of terms!
Household needs change through the years, and we are committed to catering to
YOUR needs as they change.
A TEAM OF PROFESSIONAL, TRUSTWORTHY AND CARING PEOPLE
We understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a very intimate
experience, especially if you aren’t home. Of course we do interviews and
extensive background checks. Yet, perhaps more importantly, we only hire people
we TRUST and who we are comfortable with in our own homes. Every Team Member
trains in OUR homes. And we regularly host activities like our annual Summer
Family BBQ, Wine & Paint Night, cookie decorating day, etc. in our owner's and
other Team Member's home. We are like family.
Not only do we have the most awesome, trustworthy individuals in a Seattle
cleaning business, they are true cleaning PROFESSIONALS trained to deliver a
HIGHER LEVEL OF SERVICE. Other companies may boast about their Maid Training
Academy Certified cleaners or IICRC/ARCSI membership, but, quite frankly, that’s
not saying much. We’ve ordered the DVDs and subscribed to the on-line training
programs, but we discovered that the level of detail and type of cleaning being
taught just doesn’t reflect the high standards that WE want to deliver... and be
known for.
Instead, we have chosen to invest in creating OUR OWN IN-HOUSE TRAINING program
that delivers results. Our new cleaners don’t just watch a video and practice a
few times to get "certified". Each new team member works one-on-one with a
Trainer for 2 weeks to 2 months to ensure they understand our expectations...
and can deliver the highest quality cleaning around. Then, we regularly schedule
Team Cleanings with Trainers, Quality Walk-Thrus, and On-Going Training to
ensure our clients "sing our praises from their rooftops!" THAT is our goal.
A GENUINE COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITY AND THE WORLD
We believe that we all have a role to play in creating a better world—whether an
individual, a small, local cleaning business or a Fortune 500 multinational.
Further, we believe that every company should add value to its community and
serve the social good (that's the kind of company we'd like to support!)
So, from day one, we incorporated Giving Back into our EVERY SINGLE DAY by
offering 15% off EVERY cleaning when a client donates to the Food Bank (just
leave a donation for your cleaner to pick up and we manage all the logistics!).
We drop off thousands of pounds of food and discount tens of thousands of
dollars each month. And, we don't stop there! We volunteer in our community on a
regular basis, working with the City of Seattle Adopt-A-Street program (we own
Woodland Ave N in our neighborhood by Green Lake), at various parks around
Seattle on restoration projects (with organizations like Green Seattle and the
UW Alumni Association), and at the University District Food Bank. Further, we
match Team Member payroll donations to charities of their choice and pay Team
Members 8 hours each year to volunteer for organizations that matter to them.
Finally, we are members of and make regular monetary donations to a host of
organizations including the Sierra Club, the Natural Resources Defense Council,
YWCA, ACLU, and Working Washington. You can read even more about our activities
