LANCASTER PA - AQS QUILT SHOW 2024

 Hello Everyone

We had such a nice time in Lancaster PA.

The quilt show was absolutely beautiful.

Here are some pictures and behind the "seams" from the quilt show...

These quilts below are from the Roaring Twenties...

They also had presidential quilts from George Washington to Joe Biden.  Many of
the quilts include campaign slogans, presidential nicknames, and important
events that occurred during their terms in office.

Andrew Johnson

Presidents

Below are pictures of the Monarch Butterfly.

These are beautiful~

Below are a few of my favorites

This one is Edgar Allen Poe

I love Memory Quilts - these are my favorite!

These are just a few of the amazing quilts that were there.

If you have never been to the Amish Country, it's a must see!

It's so beautiful and relaxing.

I did do some shopping...

I picked up this parcheesi quilt kit. Yes, it's the game!

Here is what it will look like when pieced and quilted.

I hope you enjoyed these quilts.
The pictures don't do them justice.

LION QUILT AND BOOK PILLOW

 Hello Everyone

I finished a baby quilt and book pillow a while ago.
Here are some pictures. I also added
a cute stuffed lion and book that matched perfectly
with the lion theme...
I used flannel material, so it's nice and soft.
It came out so cute!

Here it is all together...

On the pillow it says
Read me a story
tuck me in tight
tell me you love me
& kiss me good night
and baby's name.

all wrapped and ready for gift
