SUMMARY: 

A potential security vulnerability in Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (TDX)
module software may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing firmware
updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.


VULNERABILITY DETAILS: 

CVEID:  CVE-2024-39283

Description: Incomplete filtering of special elements in Intel® TDX module
software before version TDX_1.5.01.00.592 may allow an authenticated user to
potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.

Intel recommends updating the TDX module software to version TDX 1.5.01.02.595
or later.
