The French defense giant "Thales Group" confirmed on the 11th that its NS110 3D
surveillance radar, which will be installed on the British Type 31 "Inspiration
Class" (Inspiration Class) frigate, has passed the factory acceptance test. The
Navy's "maritime renaissance" concept has reached a new milestone and is
expected to replace the aging Type 23 frigates in service by the 2030s.

 

The military news website "Naval News" reported on the 11th that the five Type
31 "Inspiration Class" (Inspiration Class) frigates to be launched by the Royal
Navy in 2021 were designed to be equipped with Darius Group's NS110 3D

31型巡防艦作為英國皇家海軍最新打造的新一代戰艦，預計負責反潛、海上執法、情報蒐集、國際行動以及人道主義協助等任務。「貝布考克」（Babcock
International）公司是31型巡防艦計畫的總承包商，負責該巡防艦的總體設計及建造；達利思集團則為關鍵任務系統及設備（包括NS110
3D監視雷達）的主要供應商之一。
