THIRSK QUAKER MEETING

Our historic Meeting House building is now reopen following refurbishment.

Meetings for Worship, mostly in silence, take place every Sunday at 10.30 and
last about an hour.

We have coffee, biscuits and chat afterwards.

We also hold a fortnighly discussion groups, generally on Monday mornings;  and
once a month on a Sunday, we hold a shared lunch to which all are welcome.

In our daily lives, we seek to follow the principles of simplicity, truth,
equality and peace.  We call these our Quaker Testimonies.

Some of us are also inspired by faith to work actively to promote them in the
various communities in which we belong, and across society.

ALL ARE MOST WELCOME TO JOIN US AND MEET WITH US, WHETHER VISITORS OR LOCAL
RESIDENTS, EXISTING FRIENDS OR SIMPLY CURIOUS.
