offer both conventional classrooms utilizing the district curriculum and
accelerated classrooms K-6 where students can work at an accelerated pace with

Accelerated Education (opens in new window/tab)
Meridian offers Accelerated classrooms from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. All
subjects are taught at an accelerated pace with skills and concepts and a
variety of approved materials that enrich the learning experience. Accelerated
is designed to provide a challenging and supportive learning environment for
students with strong academic abilities and motivation to learn.

Budget Override Continuation

Gilbert Public Schools Governing Board approved that in November 2024, voters
living within Gilbert Public School boundaries will decide on a proposed 15%
budget override continuation. This would be a continuation of the existing
budget override approved by voters in November 2019 and in place since the
2020/21 school year.
