GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION AS REGISTERED ENGINEER “R.E.”

 * 1.   Engineer(s), who graduated after April 2005 from any Pakistani or
   Foreign University / Institution are registered as "Registered Engineer”,
   provided they possess accredited engineering qualification.

 * 4.   PEC grants Complimentary registration to all such applicants, who
   graduated in the current or last year. Graduates of the previous year(s) are
   required to deposit fee as per schedule. Furthermore, if an applicant wants
   to avail Life Time subscription offer, requisite fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees
   One thousand only) should be deposited.
 * 5.   In case of online/walk-in payment through bank, soft copy payment
   receipt must be uploaded.
 * 6.   Registration fee can be deposited in Pak rupee or foreign currency. For

 * 7.   Cashier cheque/Banker cheque is not acceptable
 * 8.   Readable scanned copies of the testimonials, fee voucher, CNIC,
   signature and photograph with a blue background be uploaded. The same
   photograph will be printed on the PEC registration certificate.
 * 9.   JPEG or JPG file format for the scanned documents is recommended
 * 10.   Scanned document size must not exceed 01 MB and is not recommended to
   be lower than 90KB
 * 11.   Google Chrome is the recommended browser for online application
   submission

GUIDELINES FOR ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL CARD

 * 1.   Engineer(s) must apply for issuance of Renewal card prior to expiry of
   its validity
 * 2   Documents required to be uploaded:
   * a.   Scanned CNIC (front & back)
   * b.   Scanned Signature
   * c.   Formal profile picture with blue background. Informal picture
     (selfie/group photo etc.) is not acceptable, otherwise your application
     will be reverted.
   * d.   No fee is required for renewal of card for Engineers having lifetime
     membership.
   * e.   Scanned copy of fee voucher of Rs. 1,000 (rupees one thousand only) in
     case of applying for life membership.

GUIDELINES FOR ENDORSEMENT OF HIGHER DEGREE QUALIFICATIONS

 * Documents required to be uploaded:
   a. Scanned CNIC (front & back)
   b. Scanned Signature
   c. Formal profile picture with blue background. Informal picture
      (selfie/group photo etc.) is not acceptable, otherwise your application
      will be reverted.
   d. Scanned Receipt/ challan of Rs. 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) being
      endorsement fee (Non Refundable).
   e. Scanned copy of degree of higher qualification or provisional certificate.
   f. Scanned copy of transcript
   g. In Case of Loss of Original Certificate, please apply for Duplicate
      Certificate using:
      i.   Affidavit of lost certificate (Duly signed by the Engineer & must
           contain name of engineer and PEC registration number)
      ii.  Newspaper Clipping
      iii. Copy of FIR (Must contain name of engineer and PEC registration
           number)
      iv.  Receipt /challan of Rs 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only)
   h. HEC Equivalence certificate of higher foreign qualification, if any.
      Verification will not be carried out by PEC in case of Equivalence
      certificate issued by HEC
   i. HEC attestation of higher qualification from Pakistani University, if any.
      Verification will not be carried out by PEC in case of attestation is done
      by HEC.
   j. Original PEC Registration Certificate to be returned back for Endorsement
      of Higher Degree Qualification.
 * Note:
   1. Distance Learning Qualification is not recognized by PEC, therefore, not
      endorsed.
   2. Verification charges of degree, if any, shall be borne by the applicant
      who will be informed when verification process is initiated by PEC.
   3. Higher Qualifications from some foreign universities/Institutions (UK,
      USA, and Canada) are verified through their authorized bodies as such PEC
      shall inform the applicant accordingly
   4. PEC shall issue Certificate with endorsement after verification from
      concerned university/institution.
   5. A certificate of registration issued under provisions of the Act, shall
      remain in force until the thirty-first day of December of the year in
      which it is issued.
