On December 1st 2023, Dubai Opera will mark an extraordinary cultural milestone:
the historic debut of the celebrated Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in
Milan set to present a memorable gala concert titled “A Concert for Tomorrow.”
The concert aims to unite audiences in a powerful display of solidarity and hope
in support of the global effort to protect the planet and safeguard the
well-being of future generations.

Encore Performing Arts and Dubai Opera is proud to present the superlative
pianist Anna Fedorova and distinguished Nicholas Santangelo Schwartz on cello
and double bass. Anna Fedorova will be performing Schumann’s Carnivale followed
by his Fantasiestucke for bass and piano. The duo will continue to perform music
by Ginastera, Debussy and more.

Dubai Opera presents, Messiah, the crowning achievement of the renowned composer
George Frideric Handel. Performed by the Astana Opera Orchestra, The Festival
Chorus, and conducted by Rob Johnston, the event promises to bring the

The Phantom of the Opera
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by
Gaston Leroux, set in magnificent Paris in the 19th century, tells the tale of a
musical genius known only as ‘The Phantom’ who haunts the depths of the Paris
Opera House. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of a young soprano –
Christine, the Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with
her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul, the Phantom’s obsession sets the
scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness and passions
collide.
