ABOUT US

Founded in 1984, Insurance Systems, Inc. (ISI) is a third party administrator
specializing in the design and administration of self-funded employer-sponsored
medical, dental, and vision plans. ISI also offers complete administration of
Consumer-Driven Healthcare plans as well as limited benefit Minimum Essential
Coverage (MEC) plans. As more employers seek to continue health coverage for
their employees in an era of ever increasing costs and the advent of Healthcare
Reform legislation, ISI will continually evolve to meet the administrative
challenges.

We take pride in our exemplary technology, knowledgeable consulting, proficient
plan design, and professional business partners. Finally, however, it is people
that make a TPA work. Our staff is committed to the belief that no client, even
one of many years, can be taken for granted and that continuity with current
clients provides a fertile ground for future ones.


TECHNOLOGY

Of key importance to our ability to respond to the needs of the marketplace is
our constant emphasis on providing superior information-management systems. Our
MediClaims software is provided by WLT, a leading provider of advanced benefits
administration and claims adjudication systems for Insurance Companies,
Government Employee Plans, TPAs, Cost Containment Companies and
Self-Administered Groups. The ISI MediClaims system enables us to manage the
information flow and provide truly meaningful reporting for our clients while
also providing secure web access to eligibility and claim files for our clients,
their employees and providers. At Insurance Systems, we have always considered
it our job not only to report plan costs but also to analyze the why of plan
costs. To that end, we recently invested in new cutting-edge technology, which
allows us to provide our clients with the latest in claims data analysis.
Decision Master Warehouse (DMW) is a web-based claims analysis tool that helps
us analyze your health plan, identify high cost and utilization areas, and
develop targeted solutions to reduce plan cost.

Insurance Systems unquestionably has in place all of the latest technology to
serve our growing client base; however, we are ever mindful that technology is a
tool and not an end in itself. Aware of the critical impact of our claims
management on your employee’s lives, we will utilize our technology to enhance
rather than to replace personal customer service. Regardless of our recent and
future growth, Interactive Voice Response systems will never replace a real
person responding sensitively to any inquiry from either an employee or
employer.


MANAGEMENT

Management of Insurance Systems is under the direction of Steve Haedicke, who
has over forty years of experience in health plan administration in addition to
an investment banking background in New York and Houston. Ginger French
Shemwell, with over twenty-five years of experience in health-plan
administration ranging from Claims Examiner to CFO duties, is the Chief
Operating Officer for ISI. Ginger’s extensive knowledge of technology
applications, combined with her practical administrative background, ensures an
operating environment excelling in customer service. Glenn Eskew, PHR, manages
our Client Services, CDHC Administration and Information Systems for ISI.
Glenn's background includes certification as a Professional in Human Resources,
fifteen years in health plan administration and over thirty years in customer
service as well as associations with national third-party administrators.

Beyond the impressive experience of our staff, the unique flexibility of our

REPORTING

REPORTING CAPABILITIES:

Insurance Systems provides standard monthly reports as well as ad hoc reports
upon request. Annually, ISI produces a comprehensive plan analysis which easily
identifies health plan cost drivers. The Management Report assesses the
performance of the client’s plan versus specific industry, employer size, and
regional benchmarks.
