The course has 5 chapters with a short quiz after each one. The questions are
based on material provided within the course, video and animations. We make it
really easy to go back and locate answers. We will show you which questions you
answered correctly and incorrectly. Unlimited attempts to pass for free and you
are guaranteed to pass.
Is the entire website secure? Expand
Yes, the ENTIRE website is secure. Notice the \"lock\" icon in the address url

Are there any computer requirements or downloads? Expand
No. In order to complete our course we recommend a computer with the following
minimum browser requirements: Internet access with at least a 56K modem, a

We utilize email for several purposes to communicate with you during your visit
to our site. If you do not have your own use a friends, with their permission of

How Is The Certificate Filed? Expand
You will receive your official Certificate of Completion upon completion of the
course. You can save it to any location and print it anytime. Then turn it in to
the court. Your insurance copy is the lower portion.
I've received more than 1 ticket in the past 12 months, what do I do? Expand
You can take the course under the same or a different email as your most recent
course.
Can I complete the course today if my due date is today? Expand
Yes, Just be sure you complete BEFORE midnight. Your certificate is date and
time stamped with the date of completion for today.
How do I get my certificate of completion? Expand
Upon completion you will be able to download a PDF Certificate. It can be
printed or saved as a file to your device.
How fast can I finish? Expand
It's a self paced course, come and go anytime. The course is filled with fun
images and some animation to help illustrate driving safety. But we keep it to
the absolute minimum required to meet all the TDLR and State requirements. 6
Hours is required by the State to be acceptable.

Absolutely! Our defensive driving course is smart phone and tablet friendly on
nearly all devices, especially the major ones. If you have internet access it
ready to take. The flexibility of our course allows you the option to take some
or all of the course from one device, or log off and resume the course from the
same or different device at a later time.

A MESSAGE FOR TEXAS DRIVERS
Traffic collisions in Texas annually take the lives of thousands of people and
cause billions of dollars in economic losses. Death, injuries, and property
damage have to be reduced, and drivers must improve their attitudes and skills.
It is particularly important that Texas citizens identify and implement all
reasonable means to reduce human suffering and property loss that result from
vehicle collisions. To those ends, this driving safety course is intended to
improve your knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes about driving.
By law, all driving safety classes must cost at least $25 and must be six hours
in length in order to dismiss a traffic citation. You’ll be signing a statement
on your Certificate of Course Completion that you have completed the entire
six-hour driving safety course. If you sign this statement falsely, you could be
charged with tampering with a government document, and the penalty for tampering
with a government document is two to ten years in prison and a fine of up to
$10,000.
During this course, you will be asked to complete a Student Information Form. It
is very important that this information be accurate and readable because it will
be used to create your downloadable course completion certificate. Your
certificate will be in PDF Format, State Approved and downloadable from within
your account. We do NOT mail certificates to students, nor the court. On another
part of the Student Information Form, you will need to identify the court that
has jurisdiction of your case. Please be specific. Selecting “JP” or “Municipal”
is not sufficient. The court information that you provide will be printed on
your course completion certificate. It must be accurate.
Remember… the court needs the course completion certificate that you receive
from your account – not your payment receipt.
Finally, if you leave here believing that this course did not provide you with
accurate information that will improve your knowledge, procedures, and attitudes
about driving, please inform TDLR.

be charged a re-processing fee of $10.00 to correct my certificate of

Driving Records:
I understand the information I provide in my Student Profile must be complete

Driving Records are emailed to students during business hours only, Mon - Fri
8am-5pm PST. There are no refunds for fee(s) paid for Driving Records. The fee
paid is premium in nature for convenience and ease of student. Any dispute of
charge or payment will result in DES Certificate of Completion being revoked.
Student is responsible for reinstatement fee and all penalties.

I understand that if it is determined a student has completed the course with
outside assistance, made false statements or present falsified documents to the
court or Approved Defensive Driving, LLC, this may be a felony and the
completion certificate will not be accepted and I will receive no refund. I have
reviewed the list of approved defensive driving courses and understand that
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC is a TDLR Approved Defensive Driving for the
state of Texas in the English Language Only. I certify that I have a valid
drivers license and am eligible for this defensive driving course.
I agree to utilize the services of Approved Defensive Driving, LLC in an
environment fit for learning.
While the information contained in Approved Defensive Driving, LLC course has

In the unlikely event Approved Defensive Driving, LLC cannot make corrections
within 24 hours I will be refunded.

and if it is determined that there was a technical problem resting solely upon
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC Web servers or Web-based applications, I will
receive my refund. I understand that in the event Approved Defensive Driving,
LLC was not the fault of any errors, computers or operating systems, then I am
not entitled to a refund.
I acknowledge and understand processing of certificates occurs only on Business
Days UNLESS Instant Processing is opted for. In the event I need (opt to have)
my certificate processed faster I may opt for Next Day or Instant Processing at
a later date for an additional fee. I understand this option fee is

I understand and agree that the Approved Defensive Driving, LLC course is an
e-learning, internet-dependent, interactive learning service that requires
proper communication via the Internet. I understand that Approved Defensive
Driving, LLC makes every reasonable effort to ensure the proper operation of its
technology and internet communication. However, Approved Defensive Driving, LLC
cannot guarantee the proper operation of my (user, student, registrant, etc.)
computer, or the Internet.
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for my (user, student,
registrant, etc.) inability to complete the course due to technical problems
including, but not limited to, technical problems with the internet, internet
service provider(s), and/or my own computer or email software.
I have read and understand Approved Defensive Driving, LLC's technical
requirements and have determined that I can use this system. If I plan on taking
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC's course using a Macintosh computer with an
older version operating system than OSX, or if I am using a PC computer running

Billing Disputes:
All billing disputes must be resolved with Approved Defensive Driving, LLC.
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC must be notified of all duplicate charges so we
can properly refund a students account. Student understands and agrees that
chargebacks will incur a fee of $50.00 USD fee due to bank charges incurred by
Approved Defensive Driving, LLC. Student also is aware that this fee must be
paid if a student disputes a charge prior to a certificate being reinstated with
the state of Texas.
Secondary User Accounts:
Please do not create more than one account for any one given traffic ticket. In
the event a user creates and pays for a secondary account an administration fee
of $15 will be subtracted from the refund.

At any time during the program, you may make changes to the information you have
previously submitted. After completion only we can edit information in the
account.
All users are automatically opted out of sharing information. WE DO NOT SELL OR
SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH ANYONE, ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN YOU, THE COURT AND
TDLR FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF HELPING YOU DISMISS A TICKET.
