Back to search results Previous job Next job JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security. The Cyber Threat Intel (CTI) and Thread Defense Operations (TDO) Associate Director is responsible for day-to-day operations for both teams as they work together to provide actionable intelligence and the ability to action it through custom detection logic and threat hunting. CTI operations include intelligence collection, curation, management, analysis standards, quality control, and dissemination of finished products to a wide range of technical and non-technical internal customers. TDO operations include threat hunting, the creation of detection logic tailored to the enterprise, utilizing actionable intelligence and development of custom use cases inside our Enterprise SIEM. This position will be a hybrid working environment with a mix of remote and on-site work. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, mentor, and lead the functions leads and team members. * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CTI and TDO team s. * Continue to mature both functions and create the ability to quickly adapt to changing threats and technologies. * Develop close working partnerships with functional senior leaders to ensure threat intelligence analysis and products are mapped to prioritized corporate assets and risks . * Respond to high-priority requests for information/hunts from senior stakeholders . * Provide quality control over team products; assist with drafting, editing, critiquing, and proofreading threat intelligence estimates, briefs, assessments, and memorandums. * Create, review and update standards, baselines, standard operations procedures, and runbooks for the functions. Education Minimum Requirement: * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field and experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated environment. * Equivalent experience and/or education is accepted. Required Experience and Skills: * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably threat defense, threat hunting, engineering, intelligence based. * 3+ years of demonstratable experience leading specialized teams. * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
