Copilot Pages is a dynamic, persistent canvas in Copilot chat designed for multiplayer AI collaboration. With Pages, you can turn insightful Copilot responses into something durable with a side-by-side page that you can edit and, when ready, share with your team to collaborate. Copilot Pages starts rolling out today for Microsoft 365 Copilot users and soon for all other Microsoft 365 subscribers. If you have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, you and your team can work with Copilot directly on the page when you open it in full screen. In a multiplayer approach, prompt Copilot together as a team to improve and expand responses, learn from each other’s prompts, and organize complex information. With Copilot Pages, human to AI interactions come to life. We see collaborative prompting as the next great step forward in evolving Copilot from an individual, point-in-time exercise into a collaborative experience. Here's how you can use Copilot Pages. 1. Access Copilot at Microsoft.com/Copilot. If you have an M365 Copilot license, you can also access Copilot in Teams and Outlook. 2. Chat with Copilot as you usually would. Once you receive a response you'd like to keep, click 'Edit in Pages'. This will create a page and open it side-by-side the chat with the response already copied and formatted, including link previews and code blocks. A reference to the page will automatically be added in the chat. 3. Add and refine. You can continue your conversation in chat. Clicking 'Edit in Pages' will add subsequent responses to the bottom of the page. Everything on the page is editable - just click on the page and start typing. Pro tip: type "/" to view a menu of content types that you can use. 4. Share and collaborate. When you are ready, you can share your page with others who will be able to collaborate on it with you. People you share with will have access to the page and its content, not your Copilot session. If you and your team have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, you can view the page in full screen to use Copilot directly within the page, adding to each other's prompts and collaborating on a final output. Pro tip: Click the share icon in the upper right and select "Copy component" to surface the page in a fully interactive way when you paste it in Teams or Outlook. 5. Access your pages. Return to your page at any time by clicking the link in the chat where you first created the page or by opening the Pages tab in Microsoft365.com, where you will see all the Pages that you previously created. Key Features * Persistent: Copilot Pages takes ephemeral AI-generated content and makes it durable, allowing you to edit and add to it. * Shareable: Any page you create can be shared as a dynamic, collaborative element in your Teams chats and channels, Outlook emails and meetings, or in the Pages module in the Microsoft M365 app. * Multiplayer: Work collaboratively with your teammates. See everyone’s work in real time and iterate on Copilot prompts as a team if you have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Here is a short animation will show you how the feature works: Copilot Pages start rolling out today for Microsoft 365 Copilot customers, check out the experience at Microsoft.com/Copilot. That workmark is already in use by and is a registered trademark of Apple. I think if you are open to reconsidering your own workflow and how having a virtual assistant work with you as a collaborator it is extremely helpful. If you think your workflow is already perfect and you don't need any help it isn't the right product for you. A great example is recently I was asked by my boss to help with an RFP for service I don't have any experience buying. Within an hour I had a great structure to the RFP, a lot of detail based on our needs, outside help no risks to consider, evaluation criteria, etc. As our team reviewed it, we needed very few changes. This worked because I was willing to treat CoPilot as both an assistant and an expert depending on the portion of the RFP I was writing, it broke writers block, gave me confidence in completing a task I never completed, and was able to either answer questions or point me in a direction to get questions answered along the way. 1 Like Like RobOK Bronze Contributor Sep 27 2024 10:54 AM * Mark as Read * Mark as New * * Bookmark * * Permalink * Print * * Report Inappropriate Content Sep 27 2024 10:54 AM @MarcRohde thanks for sharing! To clarify, I use multiple AI tools on a daily basis to figure out for me and for my company where the opportunities are. I was super-excited for microsoft to build AI into the tools, and perhaps we will get there one day, but the current state is pretty bad. I use ChatGPT 4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and some others and they are light years ahead. Specifically i want CoPilot to take advantage of the tens of thousands of documents we have in O365 Sharepoint, but it doesn't (i can feed in a document). The distraction part is the bar across the top of the word document, or the bar in my limited Outlook (on the web) real estate. Just now I tried to use Excel to highlight specific values in Light Green, after six attempts I gave up. CoPilot in Excel strongly wants your data in Tables which I don't use. 0 Likes Like EugeneNELL Brass Contributor Sep 30 2024 04:45 AM * Mark as Read * Mark as New * * Bookmark * * Permalink * Print * * Report Inappropriate Content Sep 30 2024 04:45 AM @Sarah_Gilbert and @Megan_Dohnal - Good day, it's been more than a week since it started "rolling out" but I don't see it on my business tenant as yet, I have a Copilot License + Targeted Release, but still nothing?? - Good day, it's been more than a week since it started "rolling out" but I don't see it on my business tenant as yet, I have a Copilot License + Targeted Release, but still nothing?? 1 Like Like EugeneNELL Brass Contributor Oct 02 2024 12:19 AM * Mark as Read * Mark as New * * Bookmark * * Permalink * Print * * Report Inappropriate Content Oct 02 2024 12:19 AM @Sarah_Gilbert and @Megan_Dohnal - Good day, it's been more than a week since it started "rolling out" but I don't see it on my business tenant as yet, I have a Copilot License + Targeted Release, but still nothing?? - Good day, it's been more than a week since it started "rolling out" but I don't see it on my business tenant as yet, I have a Copilot License + Targeted Release, but still nothing?? Instead it is a gradual, phased roll-out. Please see this article: When do I get the newest features for Microsoft 365? - Microsoft Support Also Microsoft updated the M365 Admin Message Center article two days ago: MC890882 <snip> When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide) to Microsoft 365 Copilot subscribers: We will begin rolling out today, September 16, 2024, and expect to complete by early October 2024 (previously late September). </snip> Early October can still be tomorrow or next week even. And it can happen your 'neighbor in the office' will have it and you don't. I guess you could try giving feedback on the MC890882 article in M365 Admin or create a support ticket, but I recommend to wait a bit... it will come. And no, I don't have it either yet, not at my company tenant nor my customer tenant and waiting anxiously too to start using it 😉 1 Like Like EugeneNELL Brass Contributor Oct 03 2024 02:51 AM * Mark as Read * Mark as New * * Bookmark * * Permalink * Print * * Report Inappropriate Content Oct 03 2024 02:51 AM Thank you @Michel-Ehlert for the response. But through providing guidance and support, I see them get enthusiastic again. M365 Copilot is great for customer that have their data stored in M365 (Office documents, E-mails, Teams meetings and messages etc) and therefore can directly leverage all this wealth using GenAI using OpenAI's LLM... through Microsoft 365 Copilot. Also, when customers have decent Data Governance, apply sensitivity labels and encryption it is also a great way to keep data safe and secure. Customers not on M365, but still largely on-premise will have challenging times and can benefit from other solutions. 0 Likes Like the_catfix Iron Contributor Oct 05 2024 01:44 PM * Mark as Read * Mark as New * * Bookmark * * Permalink * Print * * Report Inappropriate Content Oct 05 2024 01:44 PM MARKETING VIDEO IN THIS POST IS NOT GREAT - WATCH THIS INSTEAD GIVE THIS DUDE A LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE B/C IT LOOKS LIKE HE PUTS ALOT OF WORK PUTTING IT TOGETHER.
