Dr L. Higgins, who has recently arrived from the UK, would like to welcome you
to her newly set up therapy room in Sunset Beach. Ludmila is a fully qualified
Russian Paediatrician with 15 years medical experience, so you will be sure to
find yourself in safe and caring hands of a medical professional.

Her CV is quite impressive and, in addition to her medical background, includes
a Diploma in Medical Homeopathy (Moscow), Remedial Massage (St Petersburg) and
Naturopathy, which she has studied at CNM in London (College of Complementary
and Naturopathic Medicine).

Ludmila had undergone a post-graduate course in Colonic Hydrotherapy with Dr
Milo Siewert in the UK in 2001. For the past 10 years she has been working at a
very well established and most prestigious clinic in London run by Margie
Finchell (www.londoncolonics.co.uk). Diana, Princess of Wales, used to be a
regular client here and was an ardent supporter of colonics.

I was delighted to re-connect with Dr Higgins on my recent visit to Cape Town,
having experienced her excellent colonic hydrotherapy treatments while we both
lived in London.  I am now 80 years old, live in Australia, and attribute my
good health and ability to globe-trot at my age to having regular colonic
irrigation (hydrotherapy) since the age of 50. Like many of my sex I suffer from
constipation, regardless of a good diet with plenty of roughage. 


The colon is the body’s main sewer, and if its elimination is sluggish, toxins
can build up in the body and affect other organs. I have found that a monthly
treatment is ideal for me but everyone must work out their level with their
therapist. People worry that regular colonics may be bad for the colon: I have
never suffered from any negative effects: quite the reverse.
