Reservation Information *** CAMPERS! *** We do NOT have an opening day for the first booking window of 2024. We will announce the 1st reservation opening date sometime in the Spring and advanced notice will be provided. (PLEASE NOTE: no waitlist OR notifications are available) Thank you for your patience, as we finalize our events and programming schedules for 2024. (Updated: 2/12/2024) 2024 Season Dates: May 10 - October 6 CAMPGROUND BLACKOUT DATES: (The festivals will be managing the campground during these times. To stay at the campground during these dates you must be attending the festival and obtain camping passes through the festival. NO pets are permitted in the campground during festivals.): Festival Blackout Dates (subject to change) Bluegrass FestivalJune 15 through June 23Jazz FestivalAugust 8 through August 11Blues and Brews FestivalSeptember 11 through September 15 NEW! 2024 CAMPSITE RATES WILL APPLY AS FOLLOWS: (PLEASE NOTE: These nightly rates do not include the $3.00 booking fee per transaction) Premium (larger and/or river sites): $49.00/night $40.00/senior* Standard: $39.00/night $32.00/senior* Walk-In Tent: $28.00/night $23.00/senior* * Senior rates apply to those 61 and older at the time of booking. GENERAL RESERVATION INFORMATION: * Maximum night stay is 7 nights within a 30 day period of time per individual. * Maximum number of nights per season (May 2024 through October 2024) not to exceed 14 total nights per individual. * Reservations are set to be optimized, so the campsite that you select is subject to change up until 3 days prior to your arrival; however the site type will remain the same (Premium, Standard, Walk-in) and the site length will not decrease (30', 25', 20'). * Optimization occurs at the time of the initial search, so the system is doing all it can with the existing reservations to accommodate those search requests. This optimization can continue up until 3 days prior to your arrival day before the system automatically locks you into a campsite. * If you opt to piece meal together a reservation that requires you to move to a different site during your stay, this cannot be altered and it cannot be optimized by the system. Additionally, multiple reservations created on the same confirmation number cannot be modified/cancelled online, this will require assistance from a P&R staff member. * Due to high demand, despite the group booking option displaying prior to checkout in Campspot, only 1 site per individual, per day. is allowed. This will be audited by P&R staff and any group bookings will result in automatic cancellation(s). * Resale of campsites is prohibited. PRE CHECK-IN AND ON-SITE CHECK-IN : * Prior to arriving on-site, you will receive an email/text reminder (texting requires that you opt in) of your arrival and the request to PRE Check-in online. This PRE check-in process provides our team with the arriving camper information in addition to vehicle information to expedite your on-site check-in with the Campground Attendant (required for vehicle permits). * On-site check-in is NOT possible with the Campground Attendant until Terms and Conditions have been signed and online PRE check-in has been completed. * Once the online check-in has been completed, no modifications can be made to the reservation (the addition of camper names or license plates), so please plan accordingly. * ALL arriving campers MUST check-in on-site with our Campground Attendant between the hours of 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm . * No early arrivals, no exceptions! * LATE Arrival: If you will be arriving after 9:00 pm on your scheduled arrival day, please contact the Parks and Recreation office between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm MT. A vehicle permit will be left at your campsite. Please display on car dash. CHECK-OUT: * Check-out is no later than 2:00 pm on scheduled departure date. Please note, we have a very tight turnover window to make sure each site is cleaned and ready for the arriving campers. * INTERNAL MOVE: If you are moving to another campsite during your stay, please coordinate with the campground attendant between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on scheduled day of campsite move. Please note: a vacant campsite does not mean it is available to move into early. NEW! CANCELLATION POLICY COMING SOON! PRO TIPS: * YOUR RESERVATION IS NOT SECURED IN YOUR CART UNTIL YOU ARE AT THE PAYMENT SCREEN. * Online reservations only * limited availability * sites sell out within minutes of opening * We will be providing the updated URL link to our campground reservation software prior to opening the booking windows for 2024. * NOTE: The 2023 URL link to Campspot has expired. Please take a minute to review our campground map (Premium Sites highlighted in yellow): CAMPGROUND MAP 1. Facility Information, Rules & Regulations 2024 CAMPGROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS FACILITY INFORMATION: * Restroom/Shower Facility - all-in-one facility on-site includes restrooms, showers, dishwashing station, trash and recycling. * Each token is valued at $1.00 which equates to 75 seconds of hot water (NOTE: $4.00 = 5 minutes of hot water). * The token machines are bill to token (no quarters please!). Please note that the machine will dispense the amount in tokens that you insert bills for and the office is not set up to refund for tokens. * Our campsites do not offer electric, the closest campground with electric is Matterhorn * Water is available near the restroom / shower facility for on-site campers only. There is no dump station in the campground, arrangements must be made with Waste Water Treatment Plant for dumping. Recommend dumping prior to arriving in the area. SITE LIMITATIONS: Vehicle Sites: * Maximum of two (2) vehicles with license plates on the ground are permitted per site. Exception is motorcycles (two motorcycles equal one vehicle license plate per site) * No single vehicle (bumper to bumper) OR unit (tongue to bumper) can exceed 30' length; please note that site size restrictions apply. * Slide-outs are not recommended for all sites. * Individual campsites have vehicle size restrictions specific to site layout and size. If your vehicle does not fit within the site limitations, you will be turned away. Please plan accordingly. * Only (1) one RV/camping unit is permitted per vehicle campsite * A maximum of 6 people per vehicle site Walk-In campsites: * Parking is a short walk across the bridge from the walk-in tent camping sites. * Walk-in tent sites only have parking available for one standard (18' max) size vehicle or 2 motorcycles. Additional parking is not available in Town Park, so please plan accordingly. * NO RV parking * No sleeping is permitted in vehicles parked in the walk-in site parking spots. * A maximum of 4 people per walk-in tent site. NOTES: * All registered vehicles, campers and tents must be contained within the designated campsite and not impacting surrounding vegetation and roadway. Do not remove any posts, boulders, native vegetation, or tree branches. * No additional parking is provided on-site for additional vehicles and overnight parking is very limited in the Town of Telluride, so please plan accordingly. CAMPGROUND ATTENDANT: * The campground attendant is on-duty and on-site for check-in's from 3:00 pm- 9:00 pm MT. * The Campground Attendant lives on-site and is there to enforce the Campground Rules and Regulations as stated here. GROUNDS: * Generators are only permitted from 3:00 pm (check-in time) until 6:00 pm daily, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please plan accordingly. * NO WOOD BURNING-EVER (charcoal grills are provided at all vehicle sites for charcoal only) * Campground quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am. Please be respectful of your neighbors * Please do not cut off tree branches for any reason; contact campground attendant for assistance. * NO nails, screws, ropes, or lines permitted to be tied or inserted into trees or shrubs. * Under no circumstance should fresh/gray/black water be dumped on the ground. (There is a dishwashing station on the south side of the restroom/shower building. The trash/recycle is also located in this facility). * Vending in the campground or in Town Park is prohibited * Visitors are permitted at your campsite; however, camping visitors must park in the Town Park main parking lot (not in front of the tennis / pickleball courts) * No drones or aerial devices allowed in Town Park/Campground * Do not bike or walk-through other campsites to access trails or other Town Park features * Electric bikes, scooters, one-wheels, etc are motorized vehicles; please observe all trail signage PETS: * Must be always on a leash in the Campground * Pets must never be left unattended at a campsite. * Please clean up after your pet; poop bags available outside restroom/shower facility * No livestock permitted in the campground WILDLIFE: * No trash, food remnants, pet food, candles are to be left out at campsites.
