 1. DEP ANNOUNCES COASTAL FLOOD REGULATION RULES

    The Assembly Labor Committee favorably reported A-3986, which increases the
    attorney contingency fee cap in workers’ compensation matters from 20% to

    This past Monday, both the Senate and the Assembly passed S-2930, with
    bipartisan support, which modernizes the Open Public Records Act. It now

    What is the Management Workshop Program? The New Jersey League of
    Municipalities has partnered with NJ Community Solutions to provide a new
    educational program that will teach individuals about the practical side of
    managing municipalities in New Jersey. The Management Program is a series of
    three-hour practical educational sessions. Each session will be held
    in-person in small class sizes to provide opportunities to learn, discuss
    and question key aspects of managing a New Jersey municipality. Starting on
    May 14, 2024, the third series will cover a broad range of issues regarding
    Human Relations. Included will be Health and Disability Management, Payroll
    Management, FSLA and Paid Time Off, Labor Contract Management, and
    Conducting Hearings.
