Privacy Policy Privacy Policy Swan Island Networks, Inc. (hereinafter the “Company”) supports the right to privacy, including the rights of individuals to control the dissemination and use of personal data that describes them, their personal choices, or life experiences. The Company supports domestic and international laws and regulations that seek to protect the privacy rights of such individuals. Definitions Personally Identifiable Information “Personally Identifiable Information” (PII) is information that you provide to us or is collected about you which personally identifies you, such as your name, email address or billing information, or other data which can be attributed uniquely to you. TX360 Business Partners TX360 Business Partners are companies that have an ongoing business relationship with the Company to provide a service and/or technology to TX360 Subscribers. Covered Entities This Privacy Policy applies to the TX360 Exchange Service managed by Swan Island Networks, Inc. All TX360 Business Partners are included in this policy. The Personal Information We Collect In order to use the TX360 service, subscribers are required to provide contact information such as their name, address, affiliated organization, email addresses, and phone numbers. The service collects information about the subscriber’s computer including operating system, processor type, and screen resolution, and the date and time when the desktop client application is installed and configured. As part of regular application activity, all subscriber interaction with the client application is logged. The information logged includes, but is not limited to: alerts opened, library items opened, session start and stop times, and all other subscriber activity within the application. How We Use Your Personally Identifiable Information All subscriber information collected by TX360 will be collected by the Company or a TX360 Business Partner. This information is necessary to uniquely identify subscribers. Only TX360 Business Partners that require unique identification will collect information about TX360 subscribers. TX360 does not permit any unaffiliated third parties to collect information about its subscribers. All subscriber contact information collected by the service is used to establish a unique subscriber account. Information in this account will not be used to market goods or services inside or outside of TX360 to individual subscribers. Subscriber contact information is optionally made available to other approved TX360 subscribers for the sole purpose of sensitive information sharing and emergency management. In order to see other subscriber’s contact information, subscribers must be willing to share their own contact information. All collected information is used for endpoint security, information assurance, subscriber authentication, auditing, usage reports, research and analysis, and troubleshooting. Personally identifiable computer and usage information is only available to TX360 Administrators. Collected information may be aggregated to produce system wide usage metrics and shared with TX360 Business Partners or other third parties. What Personal Information We Share, and With Whom In order to participate in TX360, subscribers must allow their contact information to be displayed to other subscribers. The information displayed to other subscribers includes name, organization, title, email address, and phone number. This feature is intended to provide subscribers with direct contact with the origin of any information published within TX360. TX360 subscribers are prohibited from using this list except for specific TX360 related business. Abuse will result in the loss of access to the list and may result in subscriber removal from TX360. To have access to and be displayed in the list, subscribers must choose to participate in the contact sharing list during training and configuration. Subscribers may also request to be removed from the list at any time by contacting admin@swanisland.net. TX360 does not share any personally identifiable information with any unaffiliated third party unless so required by law. Protecting Your Information TX360 has implemented a variety of encryption and security technologies and procedures to protect information stored on our computer systems from unauthorized access. Access to these computer systems is restricted to employees of the Company and its TX360 Business Partners who have a need to access your information to assist you using this service. Control of Your Personal Information Your personal information belongs to you and you may update it at any time. All components of TX360 allow subscribers to access their contact information through authenticated access. This information can be updated and adjusted by you as necessary. Changes to this Policy Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. TX360 will not materially change your rights under this Policy without prior notification.
