MEET OUR PLASTIC SURGEON JAMES E. MURPHY, MD

Dr. James E. Murphy is an award-winning surgeon who is board-certified in
plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has been providing Reno, Lake Tahoe, and
other parts of Nevada with state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery for over 25 years
and has been voted Best Plastic Surgeon for six years in a row. Dr. Murphy has
also been doing pediatri cleft lip/palate surgery for 25 years.

James E. Murphy, MD, was born and raised in Reno. After graduating from Reno
High School, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada
Reno. He attended medical school at the University of Nevada School of
Medicine before serving as a US Naval Reservist medical corpsman during Desert
Storm. After completing five years of general surgery residency at the Swedish
Medical Center in Seattle, he completed two years of plastic surgery residency
at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina.

James E. Murphy, MD, specializes in breast surgery and performs more breast
augmentations than any other type of cosmetic surgery. Based on numbers released
by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, James E. Murphy, MD performs two
times the national average for breast surgeries annually.

JAMES E. MURPHY, MD CHANGES LIVES HEAR CHASE'S STORY

Over the past two decades, James E. Murphy, MD has become a trusted provider
of cleft lip and palate surgery as well as facial reconstruction for patients
injured in accidents. Children affected by cleft lip and palate typically have
to undergo multiple surgeries starting at three months of age to achieve their
desired results. Because of the lengthy treatment timeline for cleft lip and
palate surgery, patients and their families grow very close to their doctors.

Chase is one of our longest-standing patients. Chase was born with cleft lip and
palate, and he has been a patient at Murphy Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa since
he was a baby. Just recently, he underwent his latest surgical procedure with
James E. Murphy, MD. It has been an honor to lend our gifts to help Chase and
