GLOBAL BUSINESS TRAVEL ASSOCIATION

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY IS TO INFORM YOU ABOUT THE INFORMATION
THAT GBTA (A/K/A THE NATIONAL BUSINESS TRAVEL ASSOCIATION, DOING BUSINESS AS THE
GLOBAL BUSINESS TRAVEL ASSOCIATION), AND ITS AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, “GBTA
ENTITIES,” “WE,” OR “US”) COLLECT AT THIS WEBSITE, AND HOW WE USE, SHARE, AND
PROTECT THE INFORMATION COLLECTED. BY USING THIS WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO THIS
PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT USE THIS
WEBSITE.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

For technical improvements: As a general matter, each time a visitor uses this
website, the website hosting company’s server collects basic technical
information automatically, such as the visitor’s IP address, browser type and
operating system, referring domain, clickstream data (e.g., pages viewed and
time spent), and access times. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, we call this
type of information, which does not allow us to contact you directly online or
offline, Non-Personal Information. We use this information to understand and
analyze trends, administer the site, learn about user behavior on the site, and
gather demographic information about our users as a whole.

For user and member improvements: We also receive information about you when you
interact with and use certain features on our websites and applications. For
example, when you participate in GBTA Hub, we know when you click on ads, upload
contacts, download reports, watch webinars, join groups, participate in polls or
surveys, and share articles and information through the site. In addition, we
may collect Non-Personal Information voluntarily provided by you, such as your
company name, occupation, and language, so that we can better serve you and
improve our services. We may combine Non-Personal Information with Personal
Information, in which event the combined information will be treated as Personal
Information for as long as it remains combined.

For advertisers: We may allow third parties to advertise their products and
services on our site and within GBTA applications, and third-party advertisers
and advertising networks may also collect certain information about you, as
described below.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Demographic information: We may collect Personal Information voluntarily
provided by you, such as your first name, last name, mailing address, e-mail
address, phone number, fax number, date of birth, credit card information, food
allergies, health conditions, username, and/or password, in connection with your
use of this website, and other GBTA applications, and their respective features.
The information requested depends on the feature offered and application used.

Voluntary user and member interaction: Certain features on our websites and
applications, such as GBTA Hub, enable you to communicate and connect with other
users, members, and supporters. Any Personal Information you choose to provide
in community areas can be read, collected, or used by other users and third
parties, and could be used to send you communications, including offers for
products or services. We are not responsible for the information you choose to
submit. Your participation in these features and your sharing of your Personal
Information and other profile information with us and other users constitutes
your agreement to such sharing.

WHERE WE STORE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Please note that the server(s) that make(s) this site and other applications
available may be located outside of the United States, but when you visit this
website, any information you provide will be transferred to and stored on our
server(s) in the United States. By visiting this website, you consent to the
collection, processing, transfer, and storage of such data in or to the United
States.

Your use of this website and other GBTA applications is also subject to, and
this Privacy Policy is incorporated into, the website Terms of Use.

HOW WE USE AND SHARE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To provide user and member services: GBTA reserves the right to use both
Personal and Non-Personal Information, individually or combined together, to:
facilitate use of this website and features on this site; communicate with you,
respond to your inquiries, and process your requests; enhance and improve our
marketing and promotional efforts, website content, user experience, and
products and services; better understand your interests and preferences; and
provide you with relevant information. We may enhance or merge Personal and
Non-Personal Information that you provide with data obtained from third parties.

To provide other services: The GBTA Entities may also share your Personal
Information with each other and with select fulfillment and service providers
and other agents to: fulfill your requests and orders; perform analytics;
conduct research or surveys; provide you with information and updates; and
maintain, improve, and deliver this website and content, our services, and
advertising.

To promote services: We use technology to identify prospective members and users
and market GBTA products and services to them. In addition, we grant access to
lists containing your contact information from or to Non-GBTA Entities to market
their products and services to you.

To foster industry networking: Our industry thrives and grows due to networking
opportunities we provide to members and supporters, and other users.
Accordingly, we share your contact details with other members and supporters to
help our industry grow. Information provided by members of GBTA Entities may be
made available to other members and supporters through the member directory,
GBTA event applications, or attendee lists at our conferences and events. Where
we do offer you choices about managing you contact information, or receiving
marketing messages from GBTA or Non-GBTA Entities, we will honor them. This
website and other applications deployed by GBTA, such as GBTA Hub, event badge
scanners, mobile applications, and exhibit appointment tools, may provide
interactive features where you can connect with other users. If you choose to
share Personal Information with other users or otherwise make your information
publicly available, we will use the information you provide to facilitate such
sharing, administer your account, customize the services provided, and send you
communications and notices related to the services. Some of these features may
provide you with the means to control whether or not certain information about
you is viewable to other users and to control what communications and notices
you receive from us.

Other instances where information sharing may be appropriate:  We will not
otherwise share your Personal Information without your consent except (i) to
safeguard the website, intellectual property, users, or the rights of third
parties, (ii) to investigate violations of our Terms and Conditions, (iii) as
required by law or in response to a court order or legal request, or (iv) in
connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We use data encryption: We strive to employ reasonable security measures to
protect Personal Information from loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure
or use. Credit card information is encrypted during transmission to our site
using secure socket layer technology (SSL), and we adhere to the Payment Card
Industry (PCI) standard for handling credit card information.

Internet security is not failsafe: Users are warned, however, that the Internet
is not a 100% secure medium, and we do not guarantee that our security and
privacy measures are failsafe. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy
of your password and account information.

Voluntary information sharing: In addition, when you use certain services or
applications, or post on a forum, chat room, or social networking service on
this site or other GBTA sites and applications, the Personal Information you
share may be visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them.
We are not responsible for any such Personal Information that you choose to
submit.

INFORMATION ACCURACY, RETENTION, AND ACCESS

Information retention and minimization: We will retain your Personal Information
for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy
and consistent with obligations set forth in the services being provided, unless
a longer retention period is required, or permitted by law. We will only collect
Personal Information required to perform services requested by users, members,
supporters, and prospective members and supporters.

Information accuracy: You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the
information you provide and for correcting and updating your information.

Personal Information requests: Subject to applicable law, you may have the right
at any time to request access to and receive information about Personal
Information we retain about you, update and correct inaccuracies, and have your
Personal Information blocked or deleted, if appropriate. Access, correction, or
deletion requests can be made as follows:

 * To update your member and account record with GBTA, please visit the GBTA
   Account Dashboard. (password required)
 * To request removal from email communications from GBTA, please visit the GBTA
   Unsubscribe Page.
 * To request your information with GBTA be deleted or returned to you, please
visit the GBTA Account Profile Request page.

We may decline to process requests that are unreasonable, impractical, or for
which access is not otherwise required, by applicable law. Inquiries related to
GDPR privacy laws not addressed above may be directed to gdpr@gbta.org. If you
are a citizen of the EU and are not satisfied with the response to your request,
you may file a complaint with the European Data Protection Supervisor.

COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We deploy use of Cookies to improve our services: Some of the pages on this
website use “cookies,” which are identifiers that a website places on your
computer’s hard drive to facilitate the interaction between your computer and
the website. Different types of cookies, such as session, persistent, or flash
cookies, may be used for different functions. The GBTA Entities and our third
party service providers (including analytics and advertising service providers)
may place cookies on your hard drive or use other technologies, such as tags and
clear GIFS, sometimes called web beacons, on web page and e-mails to facilitate
site navigation, personalize your experience, remember your information when you
use our website and services, offer you relevant products and services, serve
ads for GBTA Entities and third party products and services, and track users
across other websites. Information collected through cookies and other
technologies may include your IP address, browsing activity (e.g., pages
viewed), search engine referrals, and responses to advertisements and promotions
on this site and websites where we advertise.

You can remove or block GBTA cookies: Most web browsers allow you to set
preferences about cookies you wish to accept. Consult your own browser settings
and follow the instructions to control cookies on your device. If you disable or
refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be
inaccessible or not function properly. Note, however, that flash cookies cannot
be controlled via your browser settings in the same way that other cookies can.

ONLINE BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING

Our advertisers may deploy ad tracking technologies: As explained above, our
third-party service providers may use cookies, tags, and other technologies to
collect and use information about your visits to our website and other websites
for purposes of serving ads likely to be of interest to you, including ads for
our products or services. The information shared does not include your personal
contact details.

You can control ad delivery: You can also manage your choices about receiving
ads from participating third parties and learn more about ad cookies by visiting
the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website. Please note, however, that not
all service providers participate in the NAI. In addition, if you opt-out, you
may still receive online advertising from us, but the ads you do receive may be
less relevant to you. If you delete or block cookies, buy a new computer, access
the sites from a different computer, login under a different screen name, or
change web browsers, you will need to opt-out again.

External ad networks unrelated to GBTA: In some cases, we and advertisers on
this website and other sites may work with other third-party vendors to help
deliver advertisements tailored to your interests. These vendors include ad
networks and audience segment providers, and they place cookies on your browser
to collect information about your online activity (e.g., the sites and pages you
have visited) in order to help advertisers deliver particular ads on our site
and other sites that they believe you would find most relevant. You can opt-out
of those vendors’ use of cookies to tailor advertising.

Our advertisers may contract with a third-party service to host their ads, in
which case an ad serving vendor contacts the advertisers’ hosting service for a
particular advertisement. An independent cookie may be used by the third-party
service, but we do not have a mechanism to allow visitors to opt-out of cookies
from vendors with whom we do not have a contractual relationship.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without notice;
provided, however, that we will not retroactively change how we share your
Personal Information, as defined in this policy, without your consent. Please
check back periodically for any changes we may make to this privacy policy, as
your continued use of this website following the posting of any changes means
that you accept such changes.
