The Outlook search function was not working for any contacts. I have a PST
called “contactsbackup” that only contain contacts. I attached the PST but the
search function in the contacts was not working.

Note: To perform a comprehensive search of all Outlook files (regardless of

that every time you switch views, you will need to re-enter your search words.

Depending on where you bought Office 2011, you can retrieve the product key from
Microsoft using the instructions on their website. If this doesn't work for you
(ie. You probably don't own a legitimate copy of the program) I'm afraid you're
out of luck, I believe the licensing information may be stored in the
com.microsoft.office.licensing.plist file which is located in
~/library/preferences. Once you have your product key, see Activate Office for
Mac 2011. When you install or reinstall Microsoft Office, you are prompted to
enter the product key. The product key is used during installation to 'unlock'
the software. Bought office 2011 together with my MacBook pro in a store. Now i

PARALLELS FOR MAC PRO LAPTOP

I'm strongly considering a Mac Pro purchase to replace not only a Dual G5 but
also a Dual Core Pentium Dell. I run large format posters and prints from my
home office. I only have the Dell because the RIP software (Roland Versaworks)
is Windows only. Can anyone running Parallels on either a 3GHz or 2. Cant save a
pdf while printing error for password pdf on mac. 66GHz give me some insight as
to performance of ANY apps that you may be using Parallels for. My setup would
include either the 2.66 or 3GHz, 4GB RAM and the 250GB HD for starters. I'm
going to customize storage with HD I purchase seperately.

It would be real nice to be able to get those two heaters from under my desk!

Parallel currently does not work with the Mac Pro. The folks at Parallels have
said they will release an update n the near future that will correct the problem
that keeps the Mac Pro and Parallels from running. So for the time being, no one
can do the test you have asked for.

However, I can tell you that Parallels running with an intel iMac is very
responsive and works very well for all of the Windows apps we make use of.
Currently the only place where parallels show any problems is with video
support, though I understand Parallels is making progress there as well.

My biggest issues was externals that i could not see on that side but could on
the Mac side and these were fat 32 externals. This is on a Mac Pro laptop. Did
not know about the mac pro and not working. I am finding that i really am not
using anything o n the XP side. I will pull it off the laptop after they get the
fix for the desktop.

I am running out of space 57gb filled right now and that is with very little
extra programs. Gimp for mac. Okay I tunes is 15gb which also will get moved
later. But the XP side seems pretty good. Have not done any testing or games on
it but it works. I think just a little more time and things will get ironed out.
It is not always fun to be the pioneer. I have done this many times with my
photo gear and been the first.There is always growing pains.
