PARTICIPANT PRIVACY: SET ANONYMOUS OR NAMED QUESTIONS AND POLL VOTES BY DEFAULT

You can decide whether you want your participants to ask questions and answer
polls anonymously or with their names, by default.    Even if you’re using
Single Sign On (SSO), your audience can interact with Slido totally
anonymously. If you'd rather everyone use their names, you can set this up too.
This can be done through privacy settings on both an event and organizational
level.  Available in Professional, Enterprise, Premium, and Institution plans. 
In this article:  Participant privacy options Changing privacy settings for a
single event Changing privacy settings for all new events     Participant
privacy options   You can choose from four options:  Anonymous by default Named
by default Always stay anonymous Always require name   These options don’t
affect the Quiz (where participant names are required) nor the Ideas feature. 
Update for Webex users: Guest participants names are now passed from Webex to
Slido and you’ll be able to see them i

CHANGING SLIDO ACCOUNT ATTACHED TO A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION


Hello! I am a new Slido user.  I am looking to integrate a poll with a
presentation created by a colleague - when I try and log in from my account it
says that the presentation is linked with someone else’s account (my
colleague’s).  How do I get it to switch over to using my Slido account? Thanks!

RUN AN OPEN TEXT POLL

Use the open text poll to have attendees type in words or longer text. This is
especially useful if you want to ask an open-ended question.   In this article:
Create an open text poll Run the poll and see how it works for your participants
Moderate poll responses   Create an open text poll   In your Slido event, go to
the Live polls tab, select Open text and add your question.  Creating an open
text poll   If applicable, you can also allow the following settings: Allow
multiple answers - To allow your participants to submit more than just 1 answer
to the question Display respondent names -  To display the participant’s name
next to their response Hide live results - To prevent participants from seeing
the results right away   Setting up an open text poll Once you’re
done, hit Launch to activate your poll instantly, or simply Save it for later.

Q&A Was your question answered in a meeting before they got to your reply? No
problem! Participants can now withdraw any of their replies to a Q&A question.
Just go to the right of the question and select ‘withdraw.’ Withdraw a reply in

ARABIC POLLS


Hi,I’ve created a number of surveys and polls with Slido in Arabic. I’ve changed
the language setting to Arabic and also the writing direction to ‘right to
left’.  However when I run a survey or a poll, the questions and answer options
are still ‘left to right’ which is very off-putting for
arabic-speaking participants. Is there a way to fix this that I’m missing?Thanks

I have a live poll in my presentation, but I cannot seem to ‘end’ poll and move
on to the next slide in presentation. I have to hit Escape but this terminates
‘Present with Slido’.

HOW DO I RUN THE SAME POLL IN SEVERAL BREAKOUT ROOMS IN TEAMS?


We will have an event, we will run the same polls in several paralel breakup
rooms. Breakout room 1 - Poll 1, then Quiz 1 Breakout room 2 - Poll 1, then Quiz
1 Breakout room 3 - Poll 2, then Quiz 2 Breakout room 4 - Poll 2, then Quiz 2
etc. How do we do the setup in Slido? Will participants see all results and just
from their room? Can we merge results from the two Poll 1 and the two Poll 2?

Hi Everyone,   At my work I train new hires for different types of positions. Is
there a way to organize events into folders or something similar to keep them
organized when needing to create multiple events for 1 “training event”. For
example I have a set of events for customer support training, and a set of
different events for back office processing training and my main dashboard page
is looking a little hectic.

Hi all. I’ve done a dry run of my test and it seems that participants are also
scored on the timing of their answers. I don’t want this, and would like timing
to not come into it at all. Any way I can set this at all? Thank you for your
