<p>The Center is open Monday - Thursday, 9-8; Friday, 9-5; Sunday (online only), 9-8. We close November 3-5 for the Election Day holiday and November 27 - December 1 for Thanksgiving. Fall hours end 4pm, Friday, December 13.</p>
<p>Writers may have one scheduled appointment and one walk-in session each week. Sessions last 45 minutes. You can view 5 calendar days of appointments.<strong> New appointments</strong> for 4 days in the future are released each evening
around 12-2am ET. If you schedule an <strong>in-person appointment</strong>, come to Philosophy Hall room 310. If you schedule an <strong>online appointments,</strong> log into the scheduler a few minutes before the appointment start
time, click your appointment slot, and click the red "Start or join consultation" button.</p>
<p>If you can't find an open appointments, you may join the <strong>waitlist</strong> (in the "Area tools" drop-down menu at the top right of the screen) to be notified about cancellations that fit your availability.</p>

In one-on-one consultations and workshops, our consultants offer feedback and strategies to help you improve at every stage of your writing, from brainstorming to final drafts. We will work with all Columbia-affiliated writers with the following exceptions: Barnard, Teacher's College, and School of Social Work students need to use their own institution's writing center.
