ABOUT

The Writing Center provides free writing support to undergraduates and graduate
students. In one-on-one consultations and workshops, our consultants offer
feedback and strategies to help you improve at every stage of your writing, from
brainstorming to final drafts.

We will work with all Columbia-affiliated writers with the following exceptions:
Barnard, Teacher's College, and School of Social Work students need to use their
own institution's writing center. Students from these three schools may use our
center ONLY for Columbia courses not offered through their schools.
