WHO WE ARE


The NCLT and AT Bar Association is a society registered under the provisions of
Societies Registration Act, 1860, having its registered office at Delhi. The Bar
Association is a representative of professionals like Advocates, Company
Secretaries, Chartered Accountants and Cost Accountants across the country. The
Bar Association is formed with a view to provide and upheld the highest standard
of professionalism among its professional brethrens and to promote and protect
the privileges of the Association and its members. The Bar Association shall
provide its members with facilities like library, Cafeteria, Identity Card,
Newspaper in the Bar Room, Mineral water, Lockers, Conference rooms at
reasonable rates at the bar office, and Consultation rooms for members. Further,
the Association shall conduct and hold seminars, symposia, conference on issues
and topics of interest to the legal profession and to disseminate information in
this behalf through website or internet or any other electronic mode for the
benefits of its members of the Association in particular, all professionals in
general, besides litigants and public at large.



PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Indian Corporate law regime has always strived hard to achieve its motto i.e.
“Empowering Business, Protecting Investors”. The establishment of commercial
courts in India is a stepping stone to bring about reforms in the justice
delivery system which ensures speedy and fair disposal of ‘commercial disputes’,
especially of high value involving complex questions of facts and law With
enactment of Companies Act, 2013 and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, India
today stands as an investor friendly nation with enhanced ranking in Ease of
Doing Business. The enactment of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 has given
birth to fresh challenges and opportunities to professionals and relief to
certain class of creditors. A growing confidence in this new nascent regulatory
framework has led to opening up of new benches across the country within a short
span of time.

The National Company Law Tribunal and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal
bar association is committed to its vision to promote and protect the ‘motto’ of
the legislature, interests and prestige of the association and its members,
smooth functioning of National Company Law Tribunal and National Company Law
Appellate Tribunal, and facilitate coordination among the professionals. It
works to build a strong team of professionals whose primary work is to discuss
challenges and find out the best possible solution.
