KENYA

A 5- year collaboration agreement has been signed between Masinde Muliro
University of Science and Technology (MMUST) & Immunify.Life to undertake
clinical field research in HIV in Kenya. The objective of the research is to
improve adherence to HIV treatment and assess the impact of the token reward
system on adherence.

The HIV treatment outcomes study is an elegant application of the Immunify.Life
technology, facilitating health data capture and enabling improved treatment
adherence via token rewards to empower patients, communities, and ultimately
entire countries.  This ground-breaking study will contribute to the future
strategic direction of HIV treatment in Kenya, improving health outcomes and
wellness of all people living with HIV.

Immunify.Life has established a partnership with the State of the Heart Recovery
Centre (SHRC) in Albuquerque New Mexico USA, to collaborate on applying data and
technology solutions to the challenges and opportunities of addiction recovery
and treatment, with a particular focus on opioid addiction.

The State of the Heart Recovery Centre (SHRC) is a fully accredited treatment
facility and all-inclusive treatment centre for substance abuse. It offers a
holistic approach that addresses all aspects of an individual’s emotional,
physical, and spiritual well-being.

A key feature of the collaboration will be use of the IMM tokens to incentivize
patients to adhere to treatment.  A pilot of the Immunify.Life technology in
this therapeutic setting is expected to commence in Q4 2021.

conducted in a clinic in Douala Cameroon. Other evaluation projects are in the
planning stage.

To date around 5% of the population of Cameroon has been vaccinated  against
COVID, meaning over 25 million people are still unprotected.
