WELCOME TO THE 49TH EATCS ICALP 2022, A HYBRID CONFERENCE

The 49th EATCS International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming
(ICALP) will be hybrid : happening both physically and virtually. The physical
conference will take place in Paris, France, on July 4-8, 2022. 

ICALP is the main conference and annual meeting of the European Association for
Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS). As usual, ICALP will be preceded by a
series of workshops, which will take place on July 4. The 2022 edition will be
the occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both EATCS and the first
ICALP, which was held in Rocquencourt, in the Paris area.

ICALP 2022 has joined http://safetoc.org. Participants have to follow the ICALP
code of conduct.

ICALP 2022 Extended Stay Support Scheme helps attendants to value their trip,
and combine their visit with scientific collaborations.

50 years ago: creation of EATCS and first ICALP. The 2022 edition will be the
occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both EATCS and the first ICALP,

Co-organizers

The Research Institute on the Foundations of Computer Science (IRIF) is a
research unit co- founded by CNRS and Université de Paris. It results from the
merging of the two former research units LIAFA and PPS. 


The Research Institute on the The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris
(FSMP) is a network of excellence that federates the main laboratories of
mathematics and fundamental computer science in central and northern Paris.

Université Paris Cité is a public university created in 2019 and resulting from
the merger of Paris Descartes (Paris V) and Paris Diderot (Paris VII), and the
integration of Institut de physique du globe de Paris as a component
institution.
 

European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) is an
international organization founded in 1972. Its aim is to facilitate the
exchange of ideas and results among theoretical computer scientists as well as
to stimulate cooperation between the theoretical and the practical community in
computer science.
