Baby Carrier Mini is small, soft and simple to use. It’s designed to meet a very
young baby’s great need for closeness.
When can I start using Baby Carrier Mini?
You can use Baby Carrier Mini from the day your baby is born — its softness and
small size make it ideal to pack in your hospital bag!
How do I adjust my Baby Carrier Mini to fit my growing baby?
All BabyBjörn Baby Carriers are fully adjustable to fit your growing child. The
size adjustment is located on the inside of the seat area, i.e. under the baby’s
bottom. You use the double buckle to adapt the baby carrier according to your
child’s height.
Does Baby Carrier Mini provide my baby with good support?
Yes, the soft fabrics gently hug your baby’s back, legs and hips, and provide
good support. You can check your newborn’s position and the natural curve of
their back through the fabric with your hands. Baby Carrier Mini also offers
sturdy and adjustable head support.
Does Baby Carrier Mini come in different materials?
Baby Carrier Mini is available in four super-soft materials: 3D jersey, 3D mesh,
satin-woven cotton and a soft, lustrous woven blend – all developed to enhance
the closeness between you and your baby.
Can I carry my child in both the facing-in and facing-out positions in Baby
Carrier Mini?
Yes, you can! Please remember that the leg straps should be used to reduce the
size of the leg openings for babies between 3.2 and 4.5 kg (7 and 10 lbs ). When
you carry your baby in the facing-out position, they should be at least five
months old and weigh max. 11 kg (24 lbs). Do you want the option of carrying
your child on your back? Then either Baby Carrier Harmony, Baby Carrier One or
Baby Carrier One Air would be right for you!
Can I wash my Baby Carrier Mini?
Yes, like all our baby carriers, Baby Carrier Mini is machine washable. Machine
wash at 40°C. Wash separately, preferably in a laundry bag. Use an eco-friendly,
mild and bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry. Since our fabrics are free
from harmful substances, there’s no need to wash your Baby Carrier Mini before
you start using it.

Baby Carrier Mini is suitable until your child is one year old or until they
reach a weight of 11 kg (24 lbs) and/or a height of 75 cm ( 29.5 in). If you’re

Which fabric is best?
All our fabrics are crafted to fit into your daily life. The best choice for you
depends on your unique needs and preferences. The common traits among all our
fabrics include being super soft, durable and easy to care for. They’re also
gentle on the skin and free from any harmful levels of substances.

Can I machine wash the baby carrier?
Yes, it’s super easy to clean – just machine wash at 40°C. While the baby
carrier can handle frequent washing, let’s do our part for the planet: use lower
wash temperatures and don’t over-wash. For minor stains, a quick wipe with a
damp cloth usually does the trick. Plus our products are free from any harmful
levels of substances, so there’s no need to wash them before their first use.
Is it safe for my baby to suck on the baby carrier?
Yes, we’ve chosen to certify our materials under either OEKO-TEX® Standard 100,
Class 1 or bluesign® Grade A – for products designed for babies and
close-to-skin contact. This means that they’re kind to your baby’s skin and safe
to taste. These certifications set exceptionally high bars to ensure that no
harmful levels of chemicals find their way into products meant for your little
one.
Do I need to wash the baby carrier before use?
No, our baby carriers are free from any harmful levels of substances, so there’s
no need to wash them before their first use.
TESTED AND SAFE

UNIQUE FABRICS DEVELOPED FOR BABYBJÖRN
Since our fabrics are such an important part of our textile products, we develop
the majority of our fabrics in-house. This allows us to assure high and
consistent quality and ensure that the fabrics offer the unique properties we
require.
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, CLASS 1 FOR BABY PRODUCTS
All fabrics that come in contact with your child’s skin meet the requirements of
OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means that they’re kind
to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. So there’s no need to wash the baby
carrier before you start using it.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Life with little ones can get messy, right? That’s why our fabrics are super
easy to clean – they’re machine washable, dry in no time, and keep their shape
and colour intact. While our fabrics can handle frequent washing, let’s do our
part for the planet: use lower wash temperatures and don’t over-wash. Use a
washing bag to cut down on microplastic fibres entering the environment. Choose
an eco-friendly detergent without bleach and ditch the fabric softener. Do not
tumble dry or iron. For minor stains, a quick wipe with a damp cloth usually
does the trick. Plus our products are free from any harmful levels of
substances, so there’s no need to wash them before their first use.
