OUR STORY

NYC > Crested Butte > Ixtapa


It all started in the summer of 2018. Hollis had just moved to NYC and Philip
had been living in the city for a year and a half. One night in August, Hollis
received a message from Philip on Hinge. After lots of Facebook research and a
little skepticism from Hollis’ mom, Hollis agreed to a date. A Tuesday night
West Village dinner date turned into a night of drinks, dinner and live music at
Arthur’s Tavern until 1 am. Hollis returned to her apartment that night and told
her roommates, “I just met the man I’m going to marry!” Two more years in NYC, a
pandemic spent in many different places and a move to San Antonio later, Philip
asked Hollis to marry him. On March 31, Philip pulled off a beautiful surprise
engagement in Hollis’ happy place - Crested Butte, CO - surrounded by their
family and friends. Hollis didn’t hesitate to say yes to forever. We’re so
excited to celebrate with everyone in Ixtapa, Mexico on May 20, 2023. ¡Viva
Massari & Let's Party!
