TRICIA BLACK

GENERAL PARTNER AND FOUNDER

Tricia founded Amplifyher Ventures with the mission to put more women in
leadership roles. In doing so, she believes there will be more mentors and paved
paths for fellow female operators.

 

Tricia is a venture capitalist who previously held executive sales and marketing
roles for a number of high-growth businesses, including Collegiate Advantage,
Student Advantage, and Y2M Youth Media & Marketing.

 

Tricia was the first VP of Sales of Facebook. As the company’s 7th employee,
Tricia built Facebook’s early sales team, cultivated initial advertising
relationships, and helped brands navigate the changing landscape of advertising
during the shift to social media.

 

Tricia has been investing in female founders for 10 years. She received her B.A.
from the University of Rhode Island. She sits on the Women's Leadership Board at
the Harvard Kennedy School.

MEGHAN CROSS

PARTNER

Meghan manages investment strategy and operations at Amplifyher Ventures. Prior
to Amplifyher, she was Managing Director at Red Bear Angels, leading the firm's
investments into 25+ companies including Lyft [NASDAQ: LYFT], Datalogue [acq.
Nike], Grokstyle [acq. Meta] and Trumid, and sat on the Board of Eversound. Her
angel investments include Sequioia-backed Maven Clinic, Urban Umbrella, and
Privy [acq. Attentive].

 

A United Nations UN Week speaker, Meghan writes for TechCrunch and Forbes and
lectures at Columbia University & Yeshiva University. She has appeared on The
Today Show, CNN's The Situation Room, & Cheddar TV. She is a Board leader at the
Lincoln Center Young Patrons and Facing History, an education nonprofit that
furthers diversity and inclusion.

 

Meghan was previously on the ground-floor marketing teams for Skype and
Foursquare at Kaplow Communications, before becoming a director at the leading
post-dot-com media company, StyleCaster Media Group [acq. She Knows Media]. She
received her venture training from Foundation Capital and Bowery Capital.

 

Meghan received her B.S. in Fiber Science from Cornell University and M.B.A.
from Columbia Business School.
