The NFTs
2112.run's Genesis Collection features 10560 procedurally generated NFTs, the
Cryptorunners. These are distributed into five different factions, each having
different tailor-made base models, traits, and variations, creating a whole new
level of variety within generative projects. All the displayed avatars have been
programmatically generated and are currently a work in progress.

Punks Guild Makers Cyphers Stray Dogs
The Punks
Punks are mostly lower-class, disillusioned, angry young runners, raised in a
world of scarcity. The disparity in wealth, the lack of hope, and the overall
decay of society have led the Punks to understand one thing: this game is
rigged, the system is corrupt, and will never change. The only alternative is to
run it to the ground and build it up from there.
The Guild
The Guild is the biggest criminal organization on the planet, with chapters and
businesses all over the globe. Guild Runners are usually raised and trained
since very young to become part of the organization. In exchange for an oath of
unyielding loyalty, the Guild promises luxury and comfort to only the best of
the best.
The Makers
The Makers are Cryptorunners obsessed with creating and inventing the best
hardware and software possible and expressing their creativity through their
inventions. Makers are often self-initiated, simply drawn towards experimenting
on their own at the beginning and later on joining in with like-minded runners
in order to stimulate each other.
The Cyphers
Cyphers are Cryptorunners that are in contact, through complex encoded messages,
with beings who claim to be from a mysterious planet called Syrinx. These
runners are required to modify their bodies in order to be more efficient at
decoding the messages. Cyphers believe they are "above humankind" and will do
their best to unveil the mysteries of the Syrinx.
The Stray Dogs
Any runner that doesn't fit in with any other faction is labeled a Stray Dog,
whether they want to or not. Having no allegiance means they are more flexible
with what they are capable and willing to do, but being a jack of all trades
means that they are also masters of none. In this dog-eat-dog kind of world,
Strays share a work philosophy of always going for the juiciest contracts while
being true to their colors.

ailments. The company is also the major provider of genetic enhancement
treatments and high-tech prosthetics aimed to bring everyone’s body up to its
fullest potential. These upgrades, sometimes accused of interfering with
people’s bodily autonomy, range from more efficient internal organs to neuronal
implants which allow the user to interact with the grid without the need for any
peripherals. Whichever body part you want to improve, S&S has got you covered.

Karaguchi Conglomerate
Nurturing Growth
The Karaguchi Conglomerate holds a monopoly on most of the world's food and
drinking water supply. The company engineered crops that require less water and
nutrients to grow and cultured meat without the need of devoting space to
cattle. Some speculate that the company is secretly using this technology to
make a breakthrough in human cloning. For better or worse, most of what you eat
and drink in 2112 comes from your nearby KC convenience store.

Adonis Digital Group
We Know What You Want
The Adonis Digital Media and Entertainment Group is the largest producer of
entertainment and also the owner of several of the world's biggest news outlets.
The company owns the patent for what they call "pleasure NFTs", consumable
Non-Fungible Tokens that can be exchanged for sensory experiences that are
difficult to achieve in the real world, such as tasting exotic or expensive food
and drinks, riding amusement park rides and even realistic sexual activities.
Adonis knows what you want, and they will give it to you, for a price.

Zebra Synthetics is the biggest developer of AIs used in cyberspace,
state-of-the-art automated androids, and the most powerful intrusion programs
and defensive ICE on the planet. It's well known that some of the world's most

also made enormous advances regarding high-tech cyber-implants that enhance the
user's physical and perceptive capabilities. If you want to have something done

defense contracts with almost every existing country. WDI's Research and
Development Department has a larger budget than most countries' GDPs and also
provides what they call "defense solutions", which is a euphemism for mercenary
services -both legal and illegal-. Whether it is putting bullets into people or
protecting them, WDI has been making a profit on it since time immemorial.

We will release a beautifully crafted website with all the info you can expect
from a serious NFT project. This will then be updated to include new sections
showcasing all the lore we are creating and releasing for 2112’s universe.

We will run different contests and events with the goal of making the community
participate in the creation and nurturing of both the 2112 Universe and the
Discord community. These initiatives will be rewarded with prizes that range
from special roles (that carry their own benefits) through NFTs of the genesis
collection.

We will add new sections to the website to have all the information regarding
2112’s ever-growing universe in a top-notch multimedia format that mixes art,
text, audio, and video. This will be the main repository for both new and old
Cryptorunners to access all the lore we release in the upcoming months.

Drop

We will drop our Cryptorunners avatars. Each avatar will be part of one of the
five Factions. Each faction will have three base models, making up to 15
mini-collections. The visual traits and variations for each faction and each
base model are carefully handcrafted, being different from model to model.

Project fund


Approximately 1/3 of the funds raised will go directly into funding the rest of
the project. We will split part of the earnings along with the team (13+ people)
to cover all previous and current work and assign a huge part to pursue the
milestones.

On-Chain Game (Utility)

Initial mechanics are released to kick off the NFTs utility. The team is still
defining if these mechanics will include passive token generation or something
completely new.

On-Chain Game


At this point, we will introduce faction gameplay:

 * Faction-specific mechanics (DAOs) and bonuses.
 * Pool resources to get strategic buildings, upgrades, and locations for the
   benefit of the entire faction.

Decentralized Narrative System


We will introduce a platform for the players to create and register their own
stories into the official canon. This system will validate the stories through
the participation of both the community and the project team.

The DNS will allow players to interact with the already minted stories to rate
them, comment on them, etc. We will encourage the use of the platform with
contests and events. We may even choose stories and characters to develop them
further along with their creators.

Standalone Videogame


We will create a development team, or partner with an already established game
development studio, to bring 2112 Standalone Videogame to life. This game will
expand the universe, offering a different gaming experience than the On-Chain
Game.

Our plans don’t end in what you have read here. We have many other seed ideas to
further develop the project and the brand, and to keep it going as a long-term
enterprise.

   belongs to one of 5 Factions, which dictates their way of life.
   
   They live to run the network against the Corporations of the 2112 Universe in
   search of their secrets, money, fame, and more.

 * What can I do with my Cryptorunner?
   
   The Cryptorunner is your key to unlocking the full 2112 experience.
   
   You will have access to play the On-Chain game and the opportunity to
   influence how the universe evolves.
   
   Also, the Cryptorunner will give you early (and sometimes exclusive) access
   to future collections, collabs, multimedia content, and a lot more.

 * Is 2112 a gaming project?
   
   Even though the project includes both an On-Chain Game and, later, a full
   Standalone Videogame, these are only parts of a broader experience that it’s
   designed to be a transmedia narrative universe that we all build together.
   
   Written narratives, videos, and other interactive media are only some of all
   the possibilities we have to expand the 2112 Universe.
