Two job offers after recently graduating college and I’m trying to pick: First
offer is for a top 3 medtech company working as a clinical specialist (think
J&J, Stryker, Medtronic) and the second offer is a life sciences/private equity
consulting analyst for a very small firm. I’m more interested in the consulting
industry but the pay for the first offer is around ~10-15k more. Should I choose
the company with better pay or the one where it has more interesting work?

I am a medical engineer for 3 years at medtronic and make 90k. I am probably
getting a job offer from a startup medical device company (product got approved
by fda 2+ years ago) and bought by conmed and i will be offered 105-110k. It’s
exciting but also scary bc they have their own office with less than 10 people.
But also very exciting product and a nice salary increase. Knowing i cant go
back to medtronic is scary in case i dont like this company

Engineer on contract. I have over 10 years experience in the medical device
industry including working for Medtronic, Stryker, Cook Medical, and Terumo
Cardiovascular Systems. I moving to Nashville, TN to help of my elderly Fathers
and Aunts. I asking for job referrals in the health care and medical device
industry. Interested in Vanderbilt University, etc. and any med device
companies. Will consider Memphis and Knoxville.
