SEIU MEMBER BENEFITS PRIVACY POLICY

Effective: January 1, 2021

I. INTRODUCTION

NEA Member Benefits, doing business as SEIU Member Benefits (SEIU MB), is a
nonprofit corporation that values the trust and privacy of Service Employees
International Union (“SEIU”) members and others. Our privacy practices are aimed
at supporting our nonprofit mission of serving SEIU members and providing them
with valuable benefits to make their lives better. This Privacy Policy explains:
(1) the types of information that we collect and how we collect it—whether
online through the SEIU MB Website, our mobile applications, our email
communications or short messaging services (SMS) or offline through paper forms,
telephone conversations, or data exchanges with or on behalf of SEIU, SEIU’s
local union affiliates (“SEIU’s Locals”) and our Product Providers; (2) how we
use it; (3) under what circumstances it is shared; (4) what choices are
available; and (5) what security we use to protect it. This Privacy Policy also
provides some additional information for users of the SEIU MB Website, along
with certain disclosures for California and Nevada residents. If you have any
questions regarding our privacy practices, please contact us at
privacy@seiumb.com.

II. DEFINITIONS

As used in this Privacy Policy, the following terms have the meanings indicated
below:

 1. “We” or “us” means SEIU Member Benefits, operated by NEA Member Benefits, a
     nonprofit corporation with its headquarters located in Gaithersburg,
     Maryland, and its wholly owned subsidiaries.

 2. “You” mmeans a current or former SEIU member, SEIU MB program or product

     about whom we collect personal information.

 3. “Cookie” means a small file that is placed on your computer (or mobile
     device) when you are viewing a website. The cookie contains a unique device
     identifier, and can be linked to Personal Information if you register to
     use the website. There are both session cookies (which expire when you
     close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer
     or mobile device until the cookies expire or you delete them).

 4. “SEIU MB Website” means SEIU MB’s external website located at seiumb.com

    that we can better manage our programs and assist if you encounter any
    problems. We also license Personal Information from data brokers to update

    and effectively serve SEIU members. Below are the types of Personal

    technology when you use the SEIU MB Website or mobile applications or when
    we communicate with you via email, SMS or other digital channels. For
    example, we use standard technologies, such as Tracking Technologies and
    Vendor-provided web analytics tools, to tailor articles, advertisements,
    products and services that are offered to you and to measure and assess the
    effectiveness of our digital communications.

    We also work with Third Parties that use Tracking Technologies to serve
    advertisements tailored to meet your interests while on the SEIU MB Website
    or other sites on the Internet. While we use Tracking Technologies as
    described in this Privacy Policy, any Third Party use of Tracking
    Technologies is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.

    Below are the types of information that we may collect from you through
    technology when you use the SEIU MB Website, our mobile applications and

       you visited and the next website that you visit if such websites are
       linked to the SEIU MB Website;
     * Email Activity Information: This includes, but is not limited to, whether
       you opened an email communication from us or clicked on a link contained
       therein;
     * Location Information: Your IP address may be used to generally estimate
       your location, but we do not collect information that identifies your
       precise physical location; and
     * Audio, Electronic, or Similar Sensory Information: This includes, but is
       not limit to, audio recordings and chat of your communications to the
       SEIU MB Member Advocacy Center which are recorded and collected for
       quality assurance purposes.

 4. Inferred Personal Information

    We derive Personal Information or draw inferences about you using Personal
    Information that we collect, such as SEIU MB Product Participation, Email
    Activity, and Website Activity. For example, we may create models that we
    use to tailor offers based on your preferences and past behaviors, and we
    may share such models with our Product Providers. Similarly, our Product
    Providers may also create such models about you and share them with us.

IV. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the Personal Information that we collect to support our nonprofit mission
of serving SEIU members and providing them with valuable benefits to make their
lives better. This includes, but is not limited to, the following specific uses:

   Advocacy Center;
 * To fulfill requests for content and information;

   registrations;
 * To keep records related to our marketing communications with SEIU members and
   SEIU member preferences for such communications, including requests to
   opt-out;
 * To personalize the SEIU MB Website experience by delivering curated content,
   products, and other digital communications, including advertisements, that
   are valuable to NEA members;
 * To test, measure, assess, and improve the SEIU MB program, products and
   services, the SEIU MB Website, including, but not limited to, performing data
   analytics and modeling data;
 * To conduct contests, giveaways, and surveys;
 * To maintain the security of the SEIU MB products and services, the SEIU MB
   Website, our databases and other digital infrastructure;
 * To comply with applicable law; and
 * To perform other legitimate business purposes consistent with our brand
   values and nonprofit mission of serving SEIU members.

We may also create Non-Personal Information from Personal Information by
excluding information, like your name, that would allow identification of a
specific person. We may use such Non-Personal Information, along with other
Non-Personal Information that we may receive from Third Parties to analyze
performance and usage of products and services; improve our products and
services; and manage the SEIU MB program.

V. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to efficiently and effectively serve SEIU members in support of our
nonprofit mission, we routinely share the Personal Information that we collect
about you, as described in Section III (Types of Personal Information Collected
and How We Collect It) with SEIU and SEIU’s Locals. We also share Personal
Information with Third Parties as described below:

 * Product Providers: We share Personal Information with our Product Providers.
   Through legal contracts, we require that our Product Providers treat any
   Personal Information that we share as confidential, and use it solely in
   connection with the SEIU MB program. If you purchase a product from our
   Product Providers, our Product Providers will separately collect Personal
   Information about you, and may share some of it with us, as described in
   Section III (Types of Personal Information Collected and How We Collect It).
   We will use this Personal Information as described in Section IV (How We Use
   Your Personal Information). Our Product Providers will use any Personal
   Information that they independently collect as described in their own privacy
   policies.
 * Vendors: We share Personal Information with our Vendors. Like our Product
   Providers, our Vendors are required by legal contracts to treat any Personal
   Information that we share as confidential, and to use it solely to provide
   the services that they perform on our behalf.
 * Social and Digital Advertising Networks: We share Personal Information with
   social and digital advertising networks to deliver targeted advertising on
   their network. The Personal Information shared is limited (generally email
   address, phone number, and/or physical address) and is used by the network to
   confirm delivery of our content to the proper recipient. Your ability to
   opt-out of such content is governed by the privacy policies of the social and
   digital advertising networks, not this Privacy Policy.
   In addition to the above disclosures, we also may share your Personal
   Information with other Third Parties as follows:

    * To comply with applicable law;
    * To perform a legitimate business purpose that is consistent with our brand
      values and nonprofit mission of serving SEIU members;
    * To protect against any security threats, fraud and other wrongdoing; and
    * In accordance with any consents that you may provide us.

Any shared Personal Information, when transmitted via electronic means or
