If an older version is detected then you will be given an option to upgrade during the VGAS installation. To install VGAS simply double-click on the setup.exe icon. HARDWARE RECOMMENDATIONS Minimum Requirements: * Processor - At least 3.0 Ghz Intel Core i5, i7 or AMD FX * Memory - 8 GB * System hard disk - SATA or SSD * Graphics Card - entry-level Recommended: * Processor - Newer generation 3.5 Ghz Intel Core i7 or higher * Memory - 16 GB (32 GB+ maybe required for larger datasets, E.g. CITE-Seq data) * System hard disk - M.2 or NVMe SSD * Graphics Card - mid-level VGAS is an interactive visualization-based application which runs best on dual monitors at 1080p. INSTALLING R & THE REQUIRED PACKAGES 1. Installing R - VGAS is now compatible with R version 4.0.4 (download) 2. Installing Bioconductor and Bioconductor packages using BiocManager 3. Installing Non-Bioconductor packages 4. Installing PRESTO Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test and it's dependencies 5.
