ABOUT SONICOM

SONICOM is a research project that aims to revolutionise the way we interact
socially within augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) environments and
applications, from online meetings to VR gaming.

Our international consortium of researchers and tech experts are leveraging
methods from Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design a new generation of
immersive audio technologies and techniques that can make online spaces feel
more realistic.

A FET PROACT project funded under the European Commission’s Horizon2020
programme, the multi-disciplinary team of researchers and AR/VR experts spans
six European countries and 10 research institutions and creative tech companies.
