ABOUT ME:

Hello, my name is Jacob Haavisto. I am studying Software Development at
Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. Ive had a few experiences with
electronics classes in high school, with classes that showed things from how to
make a website to how to build a computer. I am taking classes at Northcentral
that go over programming, data, and web design. I live in Medford, Wisconsin,
which is about 40-45 minutes away from Wausau. I dream of having a job in
technology, most likely in Software Development. The courses I took in high
school taught me some things that are involved in software. However, most of the
IT classes in school I remeber were not about software but instead about
building computers and computer safety.


INFORMATION ABOUT ME AND WHY I THOUGHT OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT:

I see the world of technology and code as fun. Ive had a growing interest in
technology and writing code since middle school. From messing around with the
inspect button on websites, seeing what different things would do if I changed
something on a website, and seeing that cool things can happen if you change up
the code a bit and decide to have fun with it. It allows people to create
amazing and wonderful things, things that can be used for a magnitude of things
and options for people to choose.


OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT ME:

I always think finding new experiences with technology and code is fun. I think
that creating new projects are always the best opportunity to get to know new
things. You can have a lot of fun with it if you know what you want to
accomplish. You can choose what you want to make out of HTML,CSS and other
things if you want to go for web design. You can choose to learn C# if you want
to choose Software Development. Data Teaches you about Tables, Rows, SQL and how
to format all of it. All of it teaches you how to be a successful developer if
you choose to take that path.
