Please Read Our Disclosure Policy. Tuesday, March 26, 2024 FRONT PORCH SPRING REFRESH FOR THE NEWLYWEDS! This post is sponsored by Hobby Lobby. It's hard to believe that our newlyweds have almost been married for 6 months! They are living in the most charming little rental house in a historic part of town and loving life together. They have been working hard to make the inside of their house a home, but their adorable front porch needed some attention and a refresh now that the weather is warming up and they'll be spending more time outside. Kenzi was gracious to let her Mother-in-Law jump in and agreed to let me help spruce it up for Spring and Summer! 😄 Caleb and Kenzi have a darling Golden pup (he's already big but will turn 1 later this month) and they spend quite a bit of time outdoors with him or walking in one of their nearby parks. They have also been entertaining fairly often, so we wanted to make their front porch not only welcoming for guests but also a comfortable spot for them to relax and enjoy being outside in their neighborhood. We started with a pret... CONTINUE READING » Thursday, March 21, 2024 HE IS RISEN! CHEERY EASTER TABLE 2024 Hello everyone, we've officially made it to Spring! I'm so happy to be sharing my Easter Table with you today. As usual, for the most part I used what I already had and I always try to mix and match things a little differently. I sourced everything I could all together at the end of the post. I did buy a new tableclot h, I think I'm officially collecting gingham ones in every color! This one has the cutest scallop edge. It's the most polyester of polyesters, but that means it's super easy care and basically indestructible. Oops, I also bought some new placemats/chargers. 😂 I shared these with you in last week's Five Friday Favorites. I've long admired their pricey inspiration ($100+ for 4!) but came across these at 2/$10 and scooped them up fast! These little vintage lamb salt cellars are adorable, I found them at an estate sale in my neighborhood years ago. They're more decorative for me than utilitarian, but I love using them at Ea... CONTINUE READING » Tuesday, March 19, 2024 EASTER AND SPRING DRESS IDEAS I've had a few requests for Easter and Spring dress ideas, so I've searched and gathered up some cute ones to share with you today. These are from a range of retailers and are a variety of prices, many are under $50. Most are also available in a variety of colors if you like the style but prefer a different colorway. My daughter is wearing this dress above from a previous Easter, it's been a favorite along with this one too . (Can't link mine anymore, sorry!) There's a lot to choose from here, I hope this round-up is helpful! Easter is early this year and likely cool, I included a few cute scallop edge sweaters if you need to consider a layer with your dress as well. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. It's been months and months since I've shared Five Friday Favorites with you, excited for this roundup today! Emily is coming home for Spring Break today (for a few days at least before she heads out with friends) and I'm working on an upcoming campaign that Caleb and Kenzi are a part of, excited to be with all of them today! But let's get on with some current favorites first... I've had these white jeans for quite a while and they are winners! I prefer this slightly flared silhouette to a the wide-leg trend. They have enough stretch to be comfortable but they hold their shape and don't stretch out after a few hours. I'm 5'7" and these are the regular length on me. They are just right for sneakers or sandals but I also wear them to church often with heels and the length still works for those too. I am usually an 8 or 10 in pants depending on style and brand, and I'm wearing a 10 in these. They are higher ... CONTINUE READING » Thursday, March 14, 2024 SPRING PORCH DECORATIONS WITH BUNNY DOOR HANGER This time of year is always tricky for me to decorate my porch. The Kimberly Queen ferns that I always have on my porch through the Summer won't be available until sometime later in April and we're not past possible night time freezing temps yet, so I always resort to pulling out my faux topiaries for a few months after Christmas. Here's where I started after all of the Christmas decorations were taken down, looking pretty plain! 🙁 I've had a pair of large ginger jars on my porch for a while, and the ginger jar door hanger that I've used for several years just didn't seem right with them. So, I've been needing something different. I saw this giant bunny at Hobby Lobby last week and knew I wanted him to hang on the door as soon as I saw him! However, I had to make some modifications. He's designed to stand and doesn't have any kind of hanging hardware on the back, so I fixed that! First, because it's not really my thing, I used some pli...
